I think he should be given a look in September. In a season where there's literally nothing to lose, his performance this year has been intriguing enough to see how he might handle ML pitching.

Does the fact that he's an American kid mean he may go to Bristol sooner than later? Or allow him to spend time in instructional leagues in the fall or anything like that?

Also, Maurice Edu could play there in a pinch if it becomes obvious that Gonzalez just can't get it done. At RB, Steve Cherundolo is still our best option, even at 35. Timmy Chandler is a possible option there as well. Parkhurst probably blew his chance at that spot during this Gold Cup and Brad Evans, as well as he's done, is not a RB you want playing on the World Cup stage. Players such as Corona, Diskerud, Kljestan and Eddie Johnson could see some time in Brazil as well. Also, if Aron Johansson switches to the US from Iceland, he will also push for time up top if something were to happen to Dempsey or Jozy.
