The Beast

Cueto’s effort beats the living daylights out of anyone on defense and out of VV’s performances this year. Period new paragraph.

I think I’m going to be right about losing by a football score. Edit: Damn, I was wrong.

The difference between the Yankees and White Sox players approach to hitting is striking. The Yankees staff puts the ball where players will swing at it out of the zone and the Sox will swing at it. The Yankees approach is patient and better.

Enough to line the octogenarian’s pockets.

Exactly. I don’t know why people can’t get this through their stubborn heads.

Goodnight all. Time to get a night run in rather than sit and watch this underachieving baseball team lose by a football score again.

Ah, another person who is famous but can’t do shit about her cause.

Good point. Because that’s what a good manager does. But it’s okay, he’s a hall of fame manager. The media can’t question him because he’s a hall of fame manager.

Exactly what I was thinking. It’s the Kane County Cougars versus the Yankees. Maybe the septuagenarian needs to understand who he is putting in the lineup…

Exactly. They also didn’t get enough of a balanced roster to contend against good teams. Exactly. And the moves won’t make sense. Yep and the same fans show up to see the middling team year after year. Fuck him. Because the old man wants to roll around in his grave in his money.

I still want to understand the rationale of stocking up on bullpen arms. A shorter game? Not when the starters struggle and can’t get a quality start, then relievers are hung out to dry. I’m still wondering why there’s a glut of 1B/OF types out there.

A fraction was spent. I’m convinced they still have more in the tank.

Sure. Blame is on him. But the blame is also on the players and their shitty performance and on the octogenarian who wants to take money to his grave. Asshole.

“Price range.” The money will be spent, remember? We all talked about the luxury tax and how they still had some money left. They must really just want a middling team they are disguising as one that is competing for multiple championships. Talk about misinformation.

They should have added someone other than Velazquez to get the caliber pitcher of Rodon. Don’t give me that shit that Kopech replaced Rodon, a team that cared about winning would have replaced someone of Ro

They should have added someone other than Velazquez to get the caliber pitcher of Rodon. Don’t give me that shit that Kopech replaced Rodon, a team that cared about winning would have replaced someone of Rodon’s caliber. Especially if he makes it through the regular season and playoffs.

Shades of last year except they can barely beat the bad teams and can’t beat the good teams.

Pathetic that they couldn’t get anything g out of that.

The investment in the pen is not paying off and the defense sucks as usual. Not a recipe for a winning team. P.S. Where is TLR tonight leaving Kelly out there?

Lol embarrassing defense.

Redemption in order late in the game?

Turn it on. I don’t think the wildness is over yet.

I watch him bat and wonder if he’s worth the contract he has…

It would have been interesting to see him at third, at DH, what would have become of Crede, how much attendance would have been with A Rod and when they would have dealt him like Texas did.

If it pleases the court or if it makes you happy, sure.
