QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jul 11, 2007 -> 11:18 PM) i get at least 2 Nigerian Scam emails a month, sometimes more. And recently they have been especially aggravating, somehow they are dating the emails 2-4 years ago, and they are showing up way back in my saved emails. So i have to page through all of my old and saved emails(there is alot of them, I am a packrat that way) to find a new spam or "I have money from your great uncle in Nigeria" emails. ANNOYING And they always list it "Dear McMahon" like it sounds professional or something 2 a month??? I get 2 an hour almost.

Is it just me, or does it look like a Godzilla film...or a King Kong flick...or Beast From 20,000 Fathoms...or Gappa...or Gorgo... Big monster on the loose? No Devlin attached? I'm THERE! My only hope is that this time somebody creates a cool looking monster, unlike that crap in '98.

Maybe he is playing the re-incarnation of Buck Weaver?

QUOTE(Shadows @ Jun 29, 2007 -> 03:46 AM) Is anyone else as pumped as I am about the Spice Girls getting back together? It did make me laugh.

Credit to The Critic. Got an email from the nutty goof tonight pointing me in the direction of Man Raze, the new band from Phil Collen (Def Leppard, ex. Girl), Paul Cook (Sex Pistols), and Simon Laffy (ex. Girl). I gotta say, I though Phil had forgotten how to truly rock back when he left Girl. But here he shows quite the opposite: http://www.manraze.com/index.php?page=music Nice one Critic!

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jun 28, 2007 -> 10:46 AM) Every once in a while, a good one pops out of the Pod, eh? The Praise EP was so disliked when it came out that most people just instantly turned on Seconds at that time, especially since it came right after the brilliant New Wind. It seems to be their forgotten release. I always liked it. IMO it was the last solid thing they did. I liked certain songs off the two that followed, but they were full of weak material also. I can't stand their "return to form" they have been doing over the past few years. It's quite silly.

QUOTE(TheOcho @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 07:04 PM) To each his own... I use to really love STP. I never said the new one was bad, I'm just saying that it is strange that the band sounds nothing like the band they came from, but they sound like the vocalists old band.

I was there when I was about 10-11 years old, so this was around 1980-1981. I really liked it and found it interesting, and I hated history stuff back then. Now days I would probably love it. I do want to go back.

Thank you.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 28, 2007 -> 08:52 AM) It's already posted = yes. Since you don't want to search for it, why don't you just go to cnn.com or msnbc.com or yahoo.com or wwe.com. They all have headline stories about it. Excuse you. That is not a "yes" or "no". Oh Steff...you're one of a kind.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jun 28, 2007 -> 07:28 AM) If the first question has been answered, just give me a "yes or no". Thanks kids. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 28, 2007 -> 07:33 AM) It's posted earlier in this thread. It's a long thread with a TON of standard wrestling chitter-chatter going on about things other than Benoit. I don't want to read about wrestling, I was curious about the one thing. I'll just drop Critic a line.
-
O.K., not trolling, not trying to fight, just asking. On another board they mention that Benoit may have been doping his kid. Anybody else seen this news, or is it just a wild rumor running out of control? Second, I saw Foley mentioned as to an example of the good within pro-wrestling. Isn't using Foley as an example a little like trying to use Thome? The guy is just so head and shoulders above even the standard public (and priest) that you really can't use him as comparison. I even know what an incredible person Foley is, and I never watch the stuff! If the first question has been answered, just give me a "yes or no". Thanks kids.

And He Said, No Way! (but she did shoot him in the head)

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 05:17 PM) I always blame age for my not really wanting to go to shows anymore, but really it's just indifference. And not wanting to deal with everything that goes along with shows (traffic, parking, other audience members, etc.) But shufflin' NEVER gets old!!! Twisted Sister - We're Not Gonna Take It The Clash - Guns Of Brixton Blackbox - Most Of My Life U2 - New Year's Day 7 Seconds - You Live And Die For Freedom AC/DC - Let There Be Rock Boston - Rock And Roll Band Naked Raygun - Those Who Move Dramarama - Until The Next Time Rory Gallagher - Wayward Child And the super-secret, Japanese import-only bonus track: Trivium - Detonation I'm VERY impressed.

QUOTE(TheOcho @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 01:16 AM) Anyone a Velvet Revolver fan? Their new album leaked... pretty good. What amazes me is how a band that is 3/5 Guns N Roses (granted Sorum is not original Gunners), and 1/5 Stone Temple sounds nothing like GnR, but exactly like Stone Temple. I guess it just leads to further proof that Traci Gunns actually did write Appetite, and Izzy was responsible for everything else that was decent from GnR.

QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jun 26, 2007 -> 08:46 PM) Not sure. My drive to work is about 2 minutes, so I don't need it for that. If I do make long car trips, I usually pop in a George Carlin, David Cross, or Dave Attell cd. I go to the gym after work during the week, but they have music on there and I can watch the tv's while running. So, I guess to answer the question I'm one lame ass mofo. Now THAT is funny!!!
