Grandpa Hilton says Paris loses $60 mil inheritance

No dice? Well, I for one am offended. -
I had my wife tell me what happened in the book. Boy, that was an exciting book!

I loved "10", but now I realize that it was a product of Andrew Wood more than Pearl Jam. Stone and Jeff are just experts at taking their vocalists vision and making them work, which is what Green River, MLB and Pearl Jam have all been. The music and feel of "10" was Mother Love Bone, it was the work and direction of Andrew Wood. This is why that album is so drastically different than anything that followed it. It was just an album written for a MUCH different band than what Pearl Jam was at heart.

I switched to one of these and no longer have virus problems. It's a pretty sweet machine!

QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jul 30, 2007 -> 01:20 PM) I love the Replacements, but can't sit through them lately. That's how I feel about solo Westerberg. I love the guy, love what he did, still like his sound, but I just can't listen to his solo stuff.

Anybody in either copter live? I would guess somebody did, as 3 dead seems an odd number for 2 copters. Especially news copters. Never mind, I just read the story.

If this is a scam link than maybe the link should be removed before too many people click on it?

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Jul 27, 2007 -> 12:17 PM) Little Deiter Needs to FLY!!! Looks pretty good. It got kind of mediocre reviews though from certain critics.

I saw the ad for CADDY in the paper this morning and just choked. Then I went and looked it up on Rotten Tomatoes and saw of of the search words listed as "Racism". Nice. I just watched the trailer. Wow. All I can really say is wow.

Heck with Simpsons and Rescue Dawn (of which I am not familiar), who's going to see Who's Your Caddy??? Wait, Rescue, is that the Herzog flick?

But, as with all things like this, tickets sold out in no time and were actually on eBay and Craigs List before they even went on sale, for up to $1,000. My buddy didn't get tickets. We'll see what happens with the whole "pick-up at the Vic" thing. I would guess if you are an actual member you should head on over to the Vic and claim the un-claimed tickets. I loved 10 when it came out. Have hated everything since then. I was a HUGE Mother Love Bone fan, saw them open for Dogs D'Amour when they played Chicago (bigger Dogs fan) and hung with both bands all night. Got the original "Alive" promo-only single at the record release party for Mind Funk. I guess it's pretty darn rare.

Heh...heh...heh... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070726/ap_on_...v0phHB9xXAsQE4F If you were the idiots who did this, why would you admit your intents? Why wouldn't you lie and make up some other (any other) story???

As was posted on another site I go to: "Joe Dante's Metaluna Productions, The Nickels Group and Elizabeth Stanley Pictures, proudly announce the kick-off of Trailers from Hell (TFH), a new series that will be delivered online and via mobile devices throughout the world. TFH is a series that showcases classic-era movie Previews of Coming Attractions with particular emphasis on the lurid, the extreme and the outrageous. Viewers can opt to watch the original trailers intact and/or enjoy the previews punctuated with pithy and humorous commentary by iconic genre filmmakers." http://trailersfromhell.com/ John Landis's commentary for The Fall Of The Roman Empire is great stuff!

Can we wrap Count and Uribe up into a trade for a new beer vendor maybe???

3 pages in and no love for Intellivision yet? Heck, I still have mine from when I was a kid (bought in '79 I think) hooked up! Just this summer I found a back-up system at a garage sale, with original manual, for a whopping $0.50!!! We also have my wife's Colecovision hooked up. That one we still have the original box for!

Ah-ha-ha...Algy traded up...ah-ha-ha...

QUOTE(Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 25, 2007 -> 02:15 PM) That's what having a few kids and sleeping with the biggest white trash in the world will get you. She was so f'n hot when I was in college (4-5 years ago). I would have paid a lot to see that window of love back then. I ain't blaming it on her having kids.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Jul 25, 2007 -> 01:56 PM) as long as they get naked at some point, we're ok, I think. judges? I don't know. We did get to see Brit's "window of love" and that was a little nauseating, to put it nicely. There's just something anti-sexual about that creature.

Is it wrong that I love this type of stuff and hold no sympathy at all for these people?

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jul 24, 2007 -> 08:54 PM) I like Editors, they have that 80's sound I like and their production sounds good. Nice, loud mix. Regarding Tank, that name will ALWAYS belong to the British metal band from the 80's. Saw them once with Raven (not the wrestler, the British metal band from the 80's ) at the Aragon, with a couple local Bob Luce-promoted pro wrestling matches between bands. Bad matches, good bands, good times. Ya know Tank was the band formed by Algy Ward after he left The Damned. Cool band they were, if not a little too much of a Motorhead rip-off.
