QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Oct 19, 2005 -> 12:39 PM) Jenks was added and so was Blum so someone else had to have been sent down. But I forgot. I believe his name was Shingo.

Joe Crede is a very good baseball player, and a very good person. Congrats to you Crede. Thanks for being our hero.

QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 12:17 PM) yeah... i guess... but my favorite as of two days ago is Holding Out for a Hero. it just gets everyone so pumped up. plus a couple posters on soxtalk started doing that in game threads even before it was played at the park - freakin cool but yes, the na na goodbye song f***ing rocks as well Did you see the guy on the jumbo tron running in place super fast to that song. I loved it. He really got the crowd going.

Hello All. I have four Upper Deck tickets available for tomorrow night's game. I wanted to put this offer on Soxtalk to help out anyone here, rather than scalping them. I am simply looking for face value for the tickets. I will be at game 2, so we can meet there to make the trade. Again, I am not looking to make money here, just looking to help out fellow Soxtalk posters. Please send me a Personal Message if interested. I will be going to game one soon, so I might not get back to you until late tonight. Thanks, Go Sox, JD

I am undecided, but I still voted for ya!

I do not work for Triple Threat, I am just trying to help out fellow Sox fans. Triple Threat Sports is having a one day sale on White Sox Authentic Home Jerseys, and the Authentic Home Vests. You can get them today only, lettered with whatever name and number you want for $99.00. I believe this is like 50 dollars off the regular price. The sale is today only, so you better hurry... I bet they go fast. I just got me a Thomas and a Buehrle. Just thought someone else might appreciate this info. go to www.triplethreatsports.com you will find the sale on the front page. Go Sox

Just thought I would add to this... My flight home from Cleveland was delayed last night. Mariotti was on my flight. He came and sat down with me at the airport bar near our gate. Just like everyone else... I am not a fan, but he was a pretty good guy. We sat and talked for a good 2 hours. Remember, His job is to sell papers.

Family is most important. This helps us to remember ther are more important things in life than baseball. It is just a game. Prayers go out for the Crede Family.

Come On Dave Wills... You Can Help Us Somehow. -
Just curious to see if anyone else is going to any of the games this week on the road. I am heading to the weekend series in Cleveland. Wanted to know if anyone else is going, and possibly wants to meet up with us. This is going to be a really exciting week. Go Sox.

In all seriousness. PUT UP THE JOE CREDE BANNER. Come On. Do It for the MOJO!

oh... by the way... the Sox record vs. the teams left on our schedule. vs. Cleveland: 10-3 vs. Detroit: 12-3 vs. KC: 12-3 vs. Minny: 6-5 Finish It.
-
After playing a very tough Oakland team for two more game, Cleveland has to face us, KC, and Tampa Bay. 6 games left against us... the Tribe are 3-10 against us. 7 games left against KC... the Tribe is only 7-5 against KC this year. and 3 games left against Tampa Bay... the Tribe are 3-4 against the Rays which includes a 3 game sweep in Cleveland by TB. I think Cleveland is a very good baseball team. I also think they will start to feel pressure just as much as us, with the Yankees and Oakland breathing down their backs for the Wild Card.

Superstitions are a big part of my life... lol. Honestly, I am a very superstitious person. This is even where my name "JDsDirtySox" comes from. In college, I wore the same pair of socks without washing them for over a year. I could go on and on about the superstitions that I still carry with me to this day, but I enjoy the friendships I have made here, and don't want you guys to think I am a nut job. hehe.

Just thinking of players that are out there for the taking because of being DFA'd by their former teams. List Includes: Scott Speizio Mark Bellhorn Danny Graves None of these really excite me.

-
You need to find the link to LOCAL PROGRAMMING. After going to listen live, you have to choose a destination. Choose local programming.
-
You can now listen live on the net to Chicago Baseball Tonight. Everyone can now listen in to find out the scoop.

This is the website I frequent the most, but I enjoy reading all Sox Websites.

I just posted over there to see if anyone knows anything more over there. Doubt it, but we will see. Its not like this is a contest, I just want to know what is going on. Dolgin has mentioned it twice now, but hasn't really elaborated. Where is Levine when you need him?
-
The roster is definitely at 39 now. For those interested. ESPN Radio 1000 has Chicago Baseball Tonight starting at 11 pm. Dolgin and Levine talk baseball for an hour, so I am sure this will come up. You can listen live off of espn1000.com

Hope ya have fun in Seattle. I have never been there, but really want to get out there to see the Sox play sometime. Road Trips to see the Sox are always a great time (especially when they WIN). I encourage everyone to try and get away to see the Sox on the road. This year I went to S.D., and Baltimore, and Cleveland... and I plan on going to Minny during the middle of September, and Cleveland to wrap up the season.
