Rauch and Borchard still have value, might as well trade them while they still have it and to get Huff the Sox's would need to make a really good deal, Tampa has no intention of trading no matter how much he wants out.

No way Washburn get's non tendered, he has too much value for the Angels to let that happen.

Rumors have Huff wanting out of Tampa. Rauch, Borchard, Pacheco, and maybe one low-level prospect. I can't see tampa getting a better deal than that.

Yes their is, i don't know what the time frame is, but you can't trade a FA for a certain amount of days after you sign him. No sign and trades in baseball.

I doubt Thomas demanded to be traded. He's the kinda guy that would have made a big fuss if he really did demand to be traded. Also, NO WAY IN HELL would Guillen want to trade Maggs.

Reinsdorf has to approve everything Kenny does (even the little trades), so it's probably more convenient to have the boss their in person to aprove deals quikly.
