  1. Yep. Dude is a clown and a sham. He didn’t say we got him, but he did waffle and say there was some hope… for all of 3 minutes cuz he bought into some random Japanese dude’s overreaching tweet.
  2. Yep. He basically either gets paid for 3 years if he sucks or gets a chance to opt out each year for a long-term deal if he pitches well.
  3. Framber Valdez replacement..
  4. He was literally swayed for 3 minutes by some random Japanese dude’s mis-worded tweet. He’s fake news.
  5. The dream is dead. Boras client…
  6. When I first read the story, I assumed he was going to be a coach.
  7. I only round up quarter inches to full inches when I am measuring length.
  8. Supposedly he’s 5’11”. Every inch counts when it comes to height and length.
  9. I know your post is in jest but the premise of that article is that the Yankees don’t want another mega contract potentially surpassing $150 million. If that’s truly the number for Imai, Jerry is out as well.
  10. He should just stay more generic like the foodies… ”Talks are fluid…” ”Team could pivot to other options if price gets too high…” ”Negotiations fell through at last minute and XXXXX signed with XXXXX instead…” 🤣
  11. He at least admitted to it. Still backtracking though. Apparently he got more to the story within 3 minutes at near 1 in the morning on New Year’s Eve/Day.
  12. Once you start having to delete your own tweets, definitely. The truth of the matter is that it’s pretty easy to say you are pessimistic that Imai will be signing with the Sox due to him being a Boras client and there being more than one interested team. Chances are likely you will be correct.
  13. NorthbrookFlipFlopper.
  14. You sure you read his latest tweets?
  15. The dude literally flip-flopped in all of 10 minutes at almost 1 AM Central Time on New Year’s Eve/Day. Does he have spyware on Getz’s phone? It’s almost like he quickly realized that the tweet that he was responding to that @ChiSoxFanMike shared here earlier that said Imei’s signing was imminent was simply a repeat of the original Yahoo Japan news.
  16. Huh?
  17. Yeah, regardless of what happens, this late night (actually early morning) wishy-washiness makes me think NBB is a sham like most of the others.
  18. The deadline is Friday at 4:00 PM Central Time but he would still need to take a physical before that time for the signing to be official.
  19. Womp-womp. Lame…
  20. Uh-oh, now NBB is getting on board and NBB is legit per @Y2Jimmy0 and @fathom. @Chicago White Sox is going to be busting geysers once he sees this.
  21. Paying Robert’s salary up to the trade deadline would be around $13 million dollars.
  22. It’s a legit site but they are just referencing the Clutch Points article below which references the previous Yahoo Japan article as its source. So it isn’t really anything new. https://clutchpoints.com/mlb/chicago-white-sox/mlb-rumors-white-sox-in-tatsuya-imai-munetaka-murakami-signing
  23. Doesn’t seem like much more than a piggy-back off of the Yahoo Japan article, once again stating that the White Sox have emerged as a leading candidate to sign Imai. Here is a link to the article translated to English: https://news-nifty-com.translate.goog/article/sports/baseball/12290-4823822/?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp&_x_tr_hist=true
  24. Apparently Nifty is the largest ISP in Japan and a subsidiary of Fujitsu. So it’s a legit site. Not sure if the report is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nifty_Corporation
