“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
It’s pretty close… just one syllable too many. “You're the pride and joy of In-di-an-a! Indiana Bears, bear down!”

The 78 Jerry is cheap Ishbia That would probably be enough to keep Tray busy raging for awhile.

White Sox claim C Drew Romo off waivers, DFA Ben Cowles
Exactly. Great point. We’d all rather have this guy than Lee and yet some people are expecting Lee to be worth something. Meanwhile, Romo could have been had for a waiver claim.

Eh, not so sure about that.

Thinking the same. Could be either, but only Quero will get any sort of return.

Robert Thread: Sox talking to Reds, Mets
I’m bitter because I posted the obvious and you feel the strange need to white knight Eloy Jimenez?

Munemania: AL Rookie of the Month of May
- Chicago White Sox's Offseason FA Signings Trades Megathread
Not only are they terrible, Coors will inflate his stats nicely to screw him over for next offseason.- Robert Thread: Sox talking to Reds, Mets
No problem. You’re welcome for sharing the obvious with you.- Chicago White Sox's Offseason FA Signings Trades Megathread
They are going for the big finish. They are so pumped that they will swallow their pride and take it all.- Robert Thread: Sox talking to Reds, Mets
Uhhh, he’s trying to showcase himself in an easier league to get another paycheck. At the end of the day, he was an injury-prone bust who was a waste of a lot of the Sox payroll. But… “HI MOM!!!”- Chicago White Sox's Offseason FA Signings Trades Megathread
I love this trade for the cums. It was a big load to give up but they had to make a splash.- Chicago White Sox's Offseason FA Signings Trades Megathread

- Sox linked to Patrick Wisdom
Thankfully this didn’t happen.- Robert Thread: Sox talking to Reds, Mets
I also think Getz overplayed his hand and thought the offers for Robert would be better than, “here’s some mediocre prospects… now you give us Robert and $10 million.”- Robert Thread: Sox talking to Reds, Mets
I love when a GM says we aren’t shopping said player but we’ll listen to offers. Robert is most definitely being shopped and I honestly don’t think they want to risk retaining him into the season but they may have to due to his value being so low.- Chicago White Sox's Offseason FA Signings Trades Megathread
Would make sense with Cassie on the way out. Maybe they bring back Bellinger?- White Sox are interested in Former Mets SP Griffin Canning
Corbin is 36 years old. He isn’t getting any better or healthier turning 37 in July. The guy hasn’t been a productive pitcher since 2020. Hard pass.- White Sox are interested in Former Mets SP Griffin Canning
Nothing is surprising about this. I doubt the Sox add another significant free agent pitcher. I also doubt the Cubs nab either Bregman or Bichette. Hoyer will cheap out and stick with Shaw and it’s probably the wise move anyways.- Latest Benetti news...
50-50 calls are usually pretty close, which is why umpires mess them up and there are challenges. I’d rather the umpires get the call correct the majority of time than have it simply go the Sox way every time.- Latest Benetti news...
Benetti may be better at announcing football and basketball than baseball but the only thing Schriffen is better at than Benetti is SlamBall, and that’s only because Benetti has never covered it. You mention that Benetti’s “careerism” impacts the number of Sox games he can call, but mention nothing about our other broadcaster nearing retirement with only one gig who takes off numerous games and rarely even makes west coast trips. You also seem to be annoyed that Benetti wasn’t a complete and utter Sox homer like Schriffen who was constantly trying to tell us that a 100+ loss team was so good, even when they were setting the MLB loss record. That was simply delusional and makes it appear that he thinks Sox fans are complete and utter morons. Finally, how many moronic basic baseball questions does Schriffen posit to Stone each season? You would likely lose count of tracking them after a couple games. If you did a drinking game around it you would be hammered by the 7th inning. - Chicago White Sox's Offseason FA Signings Trades Megathread
