You’d rather watch a 32 year old outfielder with a .728 career OPS in what will more than likely be another losing season? Any specific reason why?

Tonight, I learned that the WWE’s security team is worse at managing security than the Sox are at playing baseball. 🤣 Hopefully this Punk/Rollins feud ends soon and for good. Seth Rollins is as lame as his outfits. He’s just so boring IMO.

He was out of options and teams already had their 40-man rosters full since ST had started. In what will likely be another 100 loss season, I’d rather see what a 24 year old outfielder can do rather than yet another veteran retread in Slater, who won’t net you anything of value at the trade deadline anyways. Slater isn’t exactly a lock to perform any better than him anyways, based on his mediocre to bad past two seasons. No risk and no reward.

I was referring to an outfielder that would have cost next to nothing that the Cubs DFA, not large free agent outfielder signings.

Sox had to make sure they gave him a spin last ST before he officially retired. It’s what they do. I call it the Jimmy Rollins experience.

And he has absolutely no idea where the ball is going when he pitches. Only 25 of Iriarte’s 52 pitches went for strikes today.

Not if he’s not a successful major league pitcher.

Dude couldn’t buy strikes if they were on clearance at the dollar store. Walking as many batters or more than innings you pitch is a great recipe for epic failure.

How nice would it be to have a young outfielder right now for cash considerations? Getz is a putz.

Getz sure seems to jump the gun on free agents. Q is much better than Perez at a similar price. But I’m sure someone will argue that Q wouldn’t have signed with the Sox.

Doesn’t he have an ERA over 6 in the past two seasons in the minors? There really shouldn’t be any expectations for the guy, much less high expectations.
