  1. This is what actually makes me believe he truly does work for the White Sox. AnAlYtIcS!!!
  2. @Lip Man 1, your writing and historical/factual information on the White Sox is always appreciated. Don’t worry about what others say. Ironically, we just had a recent White Sox player Clint Frazier along with AJ Pierzynksi share stories about how dysfunctional the White Sox organization is. Their first-hand stories as actual Sox players stretched from 2006 all the way to 2023. Those stories provided by two players “in the know” trump any random Sox fan’s statements. For anyone to argue your point is pure hilarity. Someone is definitely incompetent but it isn’t you…
  3. True. It is crazy how his OPS fluctuates .100 points from .775 to .675. I do think he is legit though.
  4. Can that be about it for Noda? Why the F would Getz acquire a 29-year old 1B in a rebuilding year to replace an even younger bust? Meidroth’s slump is also disconcerting. Meanwhile, Benintendi getting hot but no one will take on his contract.
  5. Schriffen…
  6. Wait a minute… Do you mean that old vet players like Tauchman and Slater that continue to have injury issues may not be the new market inefficiency that I was told it is? I seem to remember saying all of this, but a certain poster disagreed with me… What am I missing?
  7. Getz’s White Sox are now on pace for 50 wins, after rounding up…
  8. More like NUKED out of existence. Even your hilarious trolling isn’t this bad. Makes me yearn for you to bring your talents back to the South Side.
  9. Getz 4 Unemployment, but I wouldn’t even want taxpayers to pay for that.
  10. Dude, get a clue. Slater for $2 million was a part of Getz’s genius new strategy — the new market inefficiency — giving millions to old, bad vets. Nevermind that Slater can’t even hit lefties now, which is supposed to be his speciality. But I seem to remember a poster on this site claiming victory when both Slater and Tauchman had good stats after not even 100 at bats combined and numerous missed games due to injuries. Tauchman’s bogus small sample size OPS is dropping faster than The Rate’s logo. Another waste of $2 million. $4 million wasted on two old bums that won’t return jack s%*# in trades when the Sox could have and should have been playing any and all young players they have or could have acquired. OLD and BAD will never be any sort of new market inefficiency… PERIOD. But… Getz4Life!!!
  11. Stick with what you know as a GM. Acquire bums like yourself.
  12. I would put a $1000 dollars on you being correct. AJP’s Brian Anderson threat story was just as embarrassing. WTF is wrong with this org?
  13. Thanks for sharing. What an indictment of this organization. 2023 was Getz’s last season as Assistant GM. He was promoted to GM at the end of the season on August 31st. 😶
  14. Another dong just now… Once again, where’s our PCA?!?
  15. Who knows, maybe the Sox don’t even have any confidence in them either and aren’t overexposing them so Getz can still trade them while they have some value remaining for even more young table scraps? Then he can sign more old veterans bums next offseason to replace them.
  16. Getz happens.
  17. Where’s our PCA? https://www.mlb.com/news/pete-crow-armstrong-leading-nl-outfield-vote-getter-homers-in-cubs-win
  18. Exactly. The counter-argument would be that the “younger” guys need more time in the minors so that’s why the vets are playing. I’m not saying they will even pan out but there is zero reason to continue giving at bats to guys like Capra, Rojas, and Noda — ZERO. And good god, Elko will turn 27 after Christmas and Baldwin will turn 25 in a couple months. They definitely aren’t being rushed.
  19. The funny thing is that he’s getting more of his at bats against lefties, so the matchups should be in his favor more often than not. An excellent veteran signing. The new market inefficiency.
  20. And Crapa has a .287 OPS, and no that isn’t a typo. One guy has zero future, while the other might.
  21. Only Getz and Venable know the answer to that one, and it probably still doesn’t make sense.
  22. Can’t risk losing Capra to another team.
  23. We have enough to start our own Clone Wars… Are we being too Sithy? 🤔
  24. Civale wanted to remain in the Brewers rotation or be traded to another team that would use him as a starter. The Brewers removed him from their rotation for their top prospect Jacob Misiorowski and just didn’t want a problem child on their hands.
