Sheets getting any playing time with Colas in the minors is ridiculous at this point. Getz is a moron. Sheets is a DFA candidate. Colas may be a bust but we don’t know for sure yet. And what position has been an absolute black hole for the Sox for years? Right field. This is roster mismanagement.

The Sox must be doing this to prove to other teams that Crochet can handle this many innings so he retains his trade value in the offseason. The consensus from just about every baseball writer was that Fedde would bring back a backend top 100 prospect and another lesser prospect outside of the top 100. Let’s not change the narrative now about Fedde being overrated just because Getz got a crappy return for him.
