  1. Seriously. Colas should just beg for his release.
  2. Who wants to bet the return is better than one Jake Eder?
  3. After what Max Fried just signed for at age 30, I doubt Crochet will be considering any sort of extension unless it’s a massive one, not just 3 years.
  4. Here’s the article… “As Red Sox lose out to Yankees on Max Fried, team preps Corbin Burnes offer”
  5. The big difference was that Eaton could hit. We have yet to see that from Fletcher.
  6. I bet Chuck is just scouring Twitter updates from legitimate MLB reporters just like we are while he’s drinking his Appletini at the bar. 🤣
  7. Yeah, let’s stop advertising for this garbage account. The typical roll it back comment. “The situation is fluid” is the most overused phrase by fake insiders everywhere. Absolute sham city…
  8. If this truly happens, it will be Getz’s fault. Every insider has been stating how hot the interest is in Crochet.
  9. I hope MLBScoops doesn’t delete this tweet once Crochet is traded. Is this account supposed to be legit?
  10. Perhaps, but their bats failed them in the playoffs, not their pitching. My guess is they will acquire some decent starter that no one is even thinking about to replace Burnes.
  11. Eh, they’ll just acquire some lesser starters. It’s what they do.
  12. “We feel like our offer was still the strongest one out there. If he hit all of the incentives, the total value of the contract could have been worth $350 million…”
  13. It’s an infamous old Kenny Williams quote that he used at least twice but probably more, typically when he failed to get anything big done in the offseason. It became a meme for the Sox continually failing to land a big name free agent. White Sox GM Ken Williams, on whether he's still shopping: "You can't offer a guy a dollar if you've only got 50 cents.' “I've used the line before that you can't give someone a dollar if you only have 50 cents," Williams said.
  14. I wonder if they think his one good really good offensive season in 2022 was a fluke and are trying to sell high before his bat continues to tank. He hasn’t had another season in which he hit that well. But his D is still so good he puts up WAR with mediocre offense. But they are dumping a lot of salary.
  15. Walker Buehler already has an iconic last name, albeit spelled differently. May as well use his last name…
  16. I think @Bob Sacamano was suggesting that the Yankees sign 1B Christian Walker, not Walker Buehler.
  17. So I assume Fletcher will be starting in CF if Robert is traded.
  18. Orioles will never ante up and the Mets offensive prospects look mediocre. The more offers the merrier though.
  19. Great news for us. C’mon Red Sox. Time to match your rivals.
  20. I agree with you but that obviously isn’t a big concern to Jerry. RF will be a massive hole again next season. It’s been that way since 2017. Tauchman, Slater, Fletcher, or whomever aren’t solving that problem.
  21. 69 awful plate appearances with the Rockies and their fans love him? Uhhh, no.
