  1. The Sox have two of the top starters to deal making nothing, a top CF talent on a good contract (3/$55), several relievers to deal, Pham, and DeJong. There is literally one player on the roster that Getz shouldn’t be looking to deal in Thorpe. There aren’t many teams left? Huh? Teams make trades each and every trade deadline. This year will be no different. There are competitive teams in need of everything and the Sox have a bit of everything to trade — starters, position players, and bullpen. If Getz isn’t the busiest GM in baseball with several trades completed by the trade deadline, he has failed.
  2. For rebuild #2, we are putting our faith in a GM that thought that Nicky freaking Lopez could be a viable starting 2B.
  3. Ummm, ummm, ummm… Riley Gowens? Meanwhile, Bummer’s ERA is down to 3.31 and he has 43 strikeouts in 35.1 innings pitched. The Sox could have easily gotten more for him in a trade if Getz didn’t go for a large quantity of crap in the deal to fill this horrid roster.
  4. Shuster’s crappy ass peripherals just caught up with him.
  5. Of course not. We just have to hope that Getz acquires true talent and then provides them earmuffs so they don’t listen to our minor league coaches until they are called up.
  6. He is clueless if he doesn’t already know himself, but you know all of the yes men weasels that he hires aren’t going to tell him.
  7. 13 strikeouts, lol. If Getz trades his last remaining assets for more pitching over position players, Sox fans should revolt.
  8. Acquired from the dumpster that Getz was diving in this past offseason. It will take a desperate team to trade for him.
  9. You might starve to death. At the very least, you would lose some weight.
  10. Are you thinking of Pillar? I’m not sure Grossman had much of a hot streak this season.
  11. I’m not buying it. If Getz isn’t the GM making the most trades by the deadline, he has failed miserably at his undeserved job. The only untouchable player on this roster is Thorpe.
  12. I don’t think so either. It’s more about their GM than any Orioles poster. Not gonna happen.
  13. Speedy bat boy? He’s a zero WAR player. The Sox should be ready to DFA him to play Sosa instead.
  14. Robert with 12 homers and only 24 RBI. ?
  15. I bet they wouldn’t give up those guys for Skubal either.
  16. Crochet won’t be an Oriole then.
  17. Freeland and Ferris will definitely be ranked higher than they currently are once prospects lists are updated.
  18. Give me Jeferson Quero. How cool would it be to have two stud catchers on the roster both named Quero but unrelated? ?
  19. I think it was intentional once he showed he could handle it, at least up to 100 innings when they started to back him down. Seems like the plan was to pump and dump him. However, if they don’t end up trading Crochet, it was a very questionable strategy.
  20. The Brewers took care of business and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Royals do the same this weekend. The Cubs will be selling. If they can actually get Teel for Taillon and his 2/$36 contract, they would be wise to do it.
  21. I’m guessing his catcher skills being questionable enough that it’s not a sure thing that he stays behind the plate. And then if he moves to 1B full-time, is his bat good enough for that spot?
  22. I was assuming for Crochet since the latest rumors make it sound like Robert won’t be dealt.
