  1. An article about ex-Cubs and current Cardinals player Willson Contreras from 2020 that had nothing today with today’s game. A big bat flip, huh? Did you get this angry when Tim Anderson and Yasmani Grandal used to flip their bats after home runs and call them out for their classlessness?
  2. You were told by numerous posters that this team was terrible in the offseason. You argued and seemed to think the Sox were better than their record was indicating during what you called a small sample size of games earlier in the season. The Sox then won a few games in a row but the same posters knew it was just a matter of time before they would start losing again. Meanwhile, you tried to use this even smaller sample size of winning to claim the Sox weren’t historically bad. It was every bit as misguided as you noting their shutout count improving more recently as some sort of sign of something (no one has a clue). Well, the Sox now have a .250 winning percentage after playing 37% of their games, which is definitely a large enough sample size. They are on pace for a 40-122 record. The Sox are historically bad. Further, no amount of brawling on the field is going to make this suck fest of a team that Getz built start winning. First and foremost, they need to replace most of the garbage players that Getz acquired this past offseason with good players. They need to get a manager with a clue. A new owner and GM would be number one on the list but we all know that isn’t happening. However, these are the ways this historically bad team may start winning some games. Not from getting their asses whooped in a stupid on-the-field brawl like Tim Anderson versus Jose Ramirez.
  3. He has been DFA twice by the Sox this year and outrighted to Charlotte. No team wants the guy but the Sox.
  4. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pham gets traded to the Brewers, loves it there, and trashes the Sox awful team and coaches.
  5. Yep, guy is making Barstool for just saying crazy stuff and turning himself into a clown meme.
  6. That fight would be as pathetic as what we just saw Schriffen cheering on.
  7. Wow, absolute cringe. Yeah, that ump was really holding back Pham. ?
  8. That area is like the entire world in The Fallout show.
  9. Imagine being a Cubsessed Sox fan who still worries about Javy Baez being on the Tigers. As a Sox fan, you should be happy the Tigers signed Baez to a bloated contract considering he has absolutely sucked ever since he signed his name to that deal. He is DFA material but he makes too much money to cut just like Benintendi.
  10. Our guys would tweak things running from the dugout to the field and be headed straight for the IL.
  11. On pace for a 40-122 record and assclown Grifail is still running his mouth in postgame interviews. Like I said, I think JR is hanging onto him until the end of the season to serve on a platter as the fall guy.
  12. Besides the fact that this team sucks at baseball, they probably suck at fighting as well and would get their asses embarrassed in a brawl as well. ?
  13. They are a garbage team built by a garbage GM and owner. They won’t improve just because of a bench clearing brawl. This is complete and utter old school meatball fan thought.
  14. Wrong Contreras. ? You truly are a meatball. Let me guess, you also frequently call into The Score?
  15. Think Pham wants to be traded to a contender ASAP? ?
  16. Yep, he has many of his sliders tailing right into the middle of the plate.
  17. Nastrini rocking that 10+ ERA. How fun to watch…
  18. “Cubs optioned INF Nick Madrigal to Triple-A Iowa. Madrigal, 27, will head back to Triple-A with David Bote taking his place on the roster. The former top prospect has once again not been effective at the plate with a .221/.280/.256 slash line in 94 plate appearances thus far.“
  19. Yep, a strategy of suck. A strategy employed to deceive and appease Sox fans.
  20. Would not be a surprise at all.
  21. Who cares. I don’t feel sorry for them. If they feel that way they can look for an opening with 29 other teams that aren’t run by the worst owner in professional sports. You are lying to yourself if you don’t think these people know what they are getting into by accepting a job with one of Jerry’s teams.
  22. As long as he’s making his own profit, he doesn’t care.
  23. No. Jerry makes a profit and simply talks to the media as little as possible to avoid fan hatred and any potential tough questions.
  24. JR is riding the Grifol hate until the end of the season to protect himself and Getz. It is so damn obvious that Grifol will be the fall guy for this season, to take the pressure off of Jerry and Getz. This is quite simply evil JR’s maniacal plan and he already telegraphed this move with the firing of Hahn and Kenny last year. Once Grifol is fired in the offseason, the Sox will sell Getz’s new manager hire as a huge deal that will be rid of the Hahn taint since Grifol wasn’t his choice. And it will be a bunch of BS and the Sox will suck next season as well.
