What does she do to you when you run your mouth? 🤣😉

Nah, give him the entire drink. He’ll need it to drown his sorrows when he’s selling car insurance soon. 😞

I have heard teenage kids around my sons’ ages using the term “bop”. I always thought it was a really old slang term from years ago but apparently it is popular again these days. https://nypost.com/2025/04/08/lifestyle/what-is-a-bop-and-why-are-young-people-using-the-term/ I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what this guy said but it doesn’t really matter much — either way, he was making fun of Marte’s mom for being dead or calling her a whore. Bad either way.

Gotta hold onto your trade assets before the deadline. 🤣

It isn’t the Sox fault but it’s definitely another story that will cause an even more negative perception of an already embarrassing organization. This can go on the Sox Hall of Shame right next to William Ligue and son.

With Colson looking like a potential bust, I’d rather see Meidroth continue to play SS with Sosa at 2B.

2 homers today. If he can learn to take a few walks… .277 AVG / .298 OBP / .416 SLG / .714 OPS

Yep, beat me to it. Worth keeping around. Maybe he is finally getting it? -

Sosa shows enough every so often that he looks like he could be a player, but he never seems to get over that .700 OPS hump. -
22 is definitely old enough to know better than to harass anyone about a dead mother. That is elementary / high school crap. He deserves whatever life lessons he receives for as long as his action is remembered.

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.

Bum of all bums. Right up there with Eloy and Moncada. No one could ever depend on those three walking injuries. -

I don’t see how getting rid of the current version of Robert could make the Sox even harder to watch in the near term. He’s a huge part of the suckage. Although I do agree that the return for him will be… -

Predict the White Sox win total 2025

#4 is definitely looking like the outlier. Pretty consistent in every other 16 game stretch. -
While he could probably hit more homers than Josh Rojas in the same number of at bats, he is more likely to get hit by the return fire of 115 mph exit velocity balls rocketed by the batters he faces due to his now gas can arm.

Getz is just trying to sell more tickets for Jerry later in the season. ”Come see the return of Thor at Rate Field!!!”
-
His numbers are free-falling almost as fast as Tauchman’s. At least Capra has a nice AVG (.309). Oh wait, that’s his OPS…
-
All other MLB teams have access to all the footage in existence of how bad Robert has been for approximately the last 1.5 seasons. It’s not just Sox fans with this knowledge.

I’ve got my money on former Sox killer Josh Naylor and he will go Adam Dunn on us.

No indicators Sox are building around speed
WhiteSox2023 replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Great port… And the entire point of playing a vet like Tauchman on what even Getz knew would be a losing team over almost any other young player is for what the vet returns at the deadline. The opportunity cost of playing old vets is the plate appearances that could have gone to a potential longer-term OF solution than Tauchman. So hopefully whatever Getz gets in return for guys like Tauchman and Slater will be worth it. -

Isn’t there an Ignore option? It seems to me that you actually want to read posts from these posters whom apparently annoy you. -
I believe he also got 43 days of service time for his career earlier this season with the Brewers so he is guaranteed healthcare and life insurance for the rest of his life. That and a $761K salary is pretty damn good for a player that has no business in the majors, even for one of the worst teams in the MLB. I bet Capra absolutely loves Getz.

I think that’s a good candidate for biggest surprise trade. Not sure I agree that it will happen though. I can’t imagine Sosa having more value in a trade than his potential value if the Sox just play him.
