9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
Nope, not even if you ask three times. 😉 The Boston front office is probably salivating at the thought of making another trade with Getz this upcoming offseason.

Congratulations, Chris!!!- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
Perhaps Boston will decide that they need an old terrible lefty reliever in the offseason and will trade their 25th best prospect in Fajardo back to the White Sox for him?- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
Impressive, Booser. What a sweet acquisition by Getz.- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
Robert has been worth only 1.4 bWAR in each of the past two seasons. Getz is apparently going to pick up his $20 million dollar option for next season. If Robert repeats that performance next season, along with his proclivity to extended time off due to injuries, it is very likely going to be wasted money.- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
Playoff feel for the White Sox in this series! Shut the hell up, John.- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
We have our own wasted money — Benintendi (0.9 bWAR) and Robert (1.4 bWAR).- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
It’s an annual Sox strategy since Kenny, then Hahn, and now Getz. They waste millions each offseason on garbage vets because they have no faith in the players in their minors or that they acquire.- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
Sosa just swung at a pitch so far outside that even Robert might have taken it for a ball.- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
Annual awful waste of money Getz veteran acquisition.- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
Yeah, a corner infielder with less power than a utility guy.- 9/24- Sox at Yankees, 6:05
I’ve seen enough of Curtis Meadiocre. It was worth a shot I guess but no way was Getz ever going to put one over on the Rays front office.- Sox@Yanks (today, ongoing)
An 81+ win season is not the exact same position as a third straight 100+ loss season. And there is zero proof that Getz could have as much success as the Mets this season with the very same resources. So far, all Getz has shown is that he’s more successful at racking up loss records than building teams with .500+ records. The Mets successes or failures don’t make a damn bit of difference to the utter failure that Getz has been thus far.- Sox@Yanks (today, ongoing)
Damn, that will make it harder to trade him this offseason… 🤣- Sox@Yanks (today, ongoing)
It hasn’t gone so well for Taylor in the bullpen which may be the reason they decide to convert him back to starter.- Most consecutive 100-loss seasons in MLB history
Loss #99. Looks like Getz will definitely reach the prestigious award of being involved in three straight 100+ loss seasons.- Sox@Yanks (today, ongoing)
Well, he’s the most used lefty middle reliever in this year’s bullpen. Only Alexander has more innings but he’s more of a long man jizz mopper / spot starter.- Sox@Yanks (today, ongoing)
You mean a key cog to yet another awful Getz bullpen. Eisert has thrown 68.1 innings.- Sox@Yanks (today, ongoing)
LOL, I’ve seen Little Leaguers with better throws home than Taylor here from shallow CF…- Sox@Yanks (today, ongoing)
Lots of “The Sox record since this arbitrary date is XX-XX.”- Sox@Yanks (today, ongoing)
What an absolutely fitting loss #99. 🤣- Sun Times says it’s time for the Schrif to move on
Obviously is was Hawk’s time to retire but didn’t Boyer sort of pressure him to retire and Hawk can’t stand him now as a result?- Sun Times says it’s time for the Schrif to move on
He hasn’t really gotten past the Sox being the greatest team ever yet. 🤣- Sun Times says it’s time for the Schrif to move on
It goes back to the original post and the latest news of why Schriffen will be back. Because we have an owner that doesn’t care about putting out a quality product. - Fire Chris Getz
