  1. In the follow-up tweets, they mention lefty 1B prospect Blake Burke for either Sosa or Mead. Burke is the Brewers #16 prospect. I’d be fine with that. Nice guy to have around in case Murakami leaves via free agency in two years. He could also DH.
  2. Yep, there’s a reason he came so cheap. He probably has to take a MILB deal if not for 2024.
  3. Crazy that Q gets no love. Yeah, he’s old, but he’s still productive and consistent. He’s probably a better bet to be decent starter than Fedde. EDIT: Looks like he is guaranteed $6 million, so that’s not bad.
  4. My only point was that it could very well be that those young players all developed because of the changes that Getz made, but I also don’t think we can just assume they would have failed if Hahn remained the GM. For as much hate as Hahn gets, it is rather ironic that four of those key young players mentioned were acquired when Hahn was the GM.
  5. Because no one knows for sure if they would have failed as prospects without Getz taking over as GM.
  6. It’s definitely relevant.
  7. The majority of players you mentioned were drafted or acquired by Hahn — Colson, Baldwin, Quero, and Sosa. Only Teel and Vargas were acquired by Getz. Just thought that was a bit funny.
  8. I think Katz might be able to turn him around.
  9. Phillies are still looking to give away Castellanos while eating most of his $20 million dollar salary for 2026.
  10. Regardless of how Slater performed, Getz deserved all the mocking he received for making that statement. Let’s be honest.
  11. This is what I was wondering. How can he prove it impacted him negatively? Also, what would the motivation be for the Sox to pressure a fringe prospect into getting it?
  12. No and apparently more than the Sox are willing to spend.
  13. Coop’ll fix him.
  14. I have no idea why any Sox fan would cradle Jerry’s balls as he is thankfully leaving us for ever. I’m sure @tray could explain.
  15. I have asked you this before but I am seriously curious about it since you never answered. Do you live near Rate Field, so it may be more convenient for you to attend games currently? You seem biased against the idea of a new ballpark. Or is it just the location you hate?
  16. Don’t ruin it for us. 🤣 Winning teams = money. Hopefully that happens and Ishbia has been known to spend.
  17. My son is going to college and wants to get into law enforcement. Not very thrilled.
  18. I disagree. Policeman / ICE agent takes the cake by a landslide.
  19. Yes, we’ll have an owner that won’t make his GM trade our best talent away for prospects the minute they near free agency.
  20. No, KatyPerrysBootyHole.
