  1. So now we know the timeline for this current rebuild. 2029 at the earliest, cuz we know Jerry isn’t spending s%*# for the next 4 years.
  2. I don’t care so much about the present but this team would be so much better in the future if he didn’t absolutely tank this season. Imagine getting back some highly ranked prospects for him at SS/CF or both? 😢
  3. Is Howard Ankin still their most played ad?
  4. 5.24 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in Charlotte, but I guess they need an arm…
  5. The Sox will still have the AL record though. 🤣. Jerry deserves everything he getz.
  6. Not sure if this is still accurate as it is a Fangraphs article from January 7, 2022, but here it is… https://community.fangraphs.com/modeling-one-run-and-extra-inning-games/ Meanwhile, Baseball Almanac says the 1966 Yankees went 15-38 in 53 one-run games, so I’m not sure why there is a 5 game and 3 loss disparity between the two reported records. https://www.baseball-almanac.com/teamstats/schedule.php?y=1966&t=NYA I wish it was just an easy record to find on this Baseball Almanac site but I don’t see it. They appear to have every year abd team split for 1-Run Games but you would have to look at them one at a time. Unless I’m missing it, they don’t simply list the worst team record for 1-Run Games in MLB history. Regarding recent White Sox teams in 1-Run Games. It looks like this current Sox team has a chance to set their franchise record. 2025 White Sox: 3-16 (.158) in 18 1-Run Games with 100 games left to play 2024 White Sox: 13-29 (.310) in 42 1-Run Games 2023 White Sox: 19-30 (.388) in 49 1-Run Games
  7. I said that the Sox needed power. I never said that I expected Getz to be able to sign a power hitter for $3.5 million. The point that you missed because you are usually too busy bloviating about how you predicted something stupid in a Sox game was the second part of my post. Our GM spent $3.5 million on a redundant and needless player with posters already questioning why he is on the roster. But please go ahead and ignore all of my posts going forward as well. You have this disturbing Single White Female thing going on that I want no part of.
  8. Others have said it already but prematurely dumping 25-year old Gage Workman was a really short-sided move for a team with no power. Especially when we have Crapa and Palacios still on the team. Getz wasted $3.5 million on Rojas so I can see why he is still on the team but Crapa and Palacios taking up roster spots is a joke. Getz is truly bad at roster management.
  9. That wasn’t the entire point but keep jumping at any post I make like a frothing dog with rabies. I’m chillin rent-free in your head and I don’t even want to be there.
  10. Comcast picking up Sox games after the team has proven they are slightly better than last year’s team but will still lose 100+ games. 🤣
  11. The Sox needed power. Getz signed a redundant glove-first infielder with no pop.
  12. 9 homers per 162 game average in Rojas’s career. Better chances than both Madrigal and Little Nicky hitting one (each with 2 homers per 162 game average in their careers) but still rather unlikely.
  13. The big question I have is… Does Luis Robert know Ryan Fuller’s name?
  14. Good points on Workman. No reason to dump a younger and likely better player for older worse players. Not on a bad team.
  15. He just mentioned Vargas’s smile, and that we have seen it a lot more since his swing change. Schriff-dawg is obsessed.
  16. Shuster. But we also still have this guy left… https://www.milb.com/player/riley-gowens-803035
