i am happy for him, here is a question for those who has seen him. rex and mnf. i am pulling for him to make the bigs and if that means making it as a reliever then so be it. does he have the makings and can he do it?

in the whole draft, i think the sox really lucked out on this yr draft. sweeney is a sure fire 1 rounder, ok a late 1 rounder but nevertheless a 1 rounder who the sox picked up in the 2 round. in addition they picked up a great 3 rounder who i think has the tools to surprise a lot of people. futhermore if they were able to these other 2 players, wow.

my 2 cents, this is an off topic board and anything goes and usually does. he had every right to post it. however, he should have given us a warning so we can be careful. i usually avoid clicking on sites with this kind of humor, but that is me. the linky thing was "bs". those are my thoughts on the subject.

personally i think that giving up on ring was a steal on out part. getting a player that can help on the 'd' is worth the chance of winning.

i don't know if anyone has discussed this, but according to the times, sox will send cotts and gordon for weaver. i think this deal will suck big time. esp with the way koch is pitching. i think weaver is over hype.

i was for the most part not happy with the trade. i did mention that i will give way to others on this subject. however i thought we gave away players that was good. for me to find a reason not to swear at kw, and believe me i am refraining, is that cotts might save this trade. if he develops and becomes the starter that some think he can. however, until that happens, we lost this trade and kw again got fleeced. ok

we resign him? when did this happen? oh s***, another contract like clayton that we can't get rid off. when jr start crying of losing money, he should look at his decision on keeping kw. f***

we lost on the trade with the A's. the only saving grace is that we got cotts. he still might make this trade work. but we need a closer as how many teams out there who are actively pursueing one. where is all the kw backers now?

Top list? Ooooooooooooooooooooooo-kay. double, we actually agree for once...... I thought this list is somewhat weak for what I thought it might have been. Hell, if they let us pick the players, we could give them 4 guys from this list and not miss a beat. Don't get me wrong, there is talent on this list, but the Sox have better. Well I don't really care anymore if they take Ruddy Yan cause I am convinced he'll never hit enough to turn into an everyday major leaguer. Josh Rupe is the only guy on that list that I'd like to keep and I'm guessing he's the one guy the Rangers really want. But I can live with that. Also, to get Beltran we'd have two give up Webster, Honel, and Cotts or something like that. in addition to that, boras is his agent. you know as well as i do that the sox will not get a player who is represented by boras, unless it will be for a season. ref to webster he may not develop as msf has said, but he still may be a viable prospect.
