It's all academic really though. With Peavy this team still sucks. And in the AL, he becomes a solid pitcher, but not an ACE like in the NL.

Even though this is Conan's thread, I sent in a "Small Town News" to the Letterman show about a month ago and it was on Tuesday night's show.

Fields couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

We are about to go 3-9 on a homestand we should have at least gone 9-3.

You know your baseball team sucks when your option for the last out is Dewayne Wise pinch-hitting or Josh Fields.

Sadly, Scott is the guy I feel best about right now with a guy at second. He has shown a nice, quick swing this year.
