Bulls vs TWolves
QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 09:27 PM) Did any one see malik's injury? Was it bad? He hit his head against Songaila's knee. It did not look as bad as it was treated (which probably is a good sign.) It looked like he just had some whiplash and should be getting better by the second.

QB Drama in Chitown
I personally want an athletic QB. Rex and Orton are pretty much stiffs. I would like to see Omar Jacobs or Reggie McNeal. Both would be available in round 3 and would cost little. Brooks--who I prefer over Pennington--would cost some money and would prevent us from adressing other needs like safety and WR. But if Icness (realGM guy) is accurate, you gotta agree with Angelo. Rex and Kyle have proven nothing in the pros and the Bears are a TE, one WR steping up or signed from and a servicable QB from being super bowl contenders. That TE will come via the draft, the WR will be Randel-El or a draft pick/one of our guys picking it up and the QB is the question mark. Let Lovie coach, let Jerry sign guys.

Anyone see that new MJ commercial?
With all the kids doing the MJ moves. Is that amazing editing or are the kids actually doing the moves? Either way, I think it is a damn cool commercial. What do you guys think?

Bucks vs. Bulls + Trade deadline talk
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 08:57 PM) Adam Morrison would then be the slowest SG in the NBA. We could get by with Hinrich, Deng, KG, and Tyson being above-average defenders.

Bucks vs. Bulls + Trade deadline talk
QUOTE(rangercal @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 08:39 PM) TiM Thomas ( for salary Reasons) Ben gordon and The # 1 pick for Garnett That would be a beautiful trade. Draft Morrison(assuming Bulls give their pick, although it would probably require the NY pick) as the two guard and then we got a damn good line-up. Free Agency is for depth. Nazr Mohammed and Bonzi Wells would be nice. PG-Hinrich/Duhon/Pargo SG-Morrison/Wells/Pargo SF-Deng/Nocioni/Songaila PF-KG/Songaila/Sweets C-Tyson/Nazr

Bucks vs. Bulls + Trade deadline talk
In typical Bulls fashion they can't hold the damn lead.

Bucks vs. Bulls + Trade deadline talk
Also about the trade deadline, don't trade for anyone...unless his initials are KG. Harrington can be had during the summer without trading talent. Pierce is darn good, but Gordon is starting to come into his own.

Sox Claim Rusty Tucker off waivers
QUOTE(beck72 @ Feb 15, 2006 -> 05:04 AM) Here was Tucker's 2004 write up from BA's Prospect Handbook: The Pads #12 prospect "After a breakthrough in velocity in 2002, Tucker continued to pitch well after a promotion to AA last season. He continued to throw in the mid 90's, an astounding fastball for a short lefthander, and blew away Southern league hitters. But he lost some velocity and started to get hit in July, then felt a pop in his elbow when he threw a pitch in early august. He had Tommy John surgery shortly thereafter and probably won't pitch during the 2004 regular season. The track record with that operation is very good, so Tucker should be able to regain his fastball after diligent rehab. When he comes back, he'll need to continue to tighten a hard, slurvy breaking ball into a true slider. Tucker was starting to learn that there's more than pitching to sheer power, as he mixed in more two seam fastballs and changeups than in the past. His four seamer lacks much movement and he'll need to find something he can use to shutdown righthanders. They hit .256 and slugged .372 against him in 2003, compared to .188 and .250 by lefties. He'll also have to improve his control" Well this guy seems to be the perfect guy. Can get lefties out and that's all were asking for our second reliever.

This game is going to OT unless a miracle occurs with 0.5 seconds left for the Bulls.
