If JG loses this game 1-0 Walker should be fired right after the game. And people can throw all the stats at me they want, if anyone watches these games you can tell how terrible these hitters have been lately, their approach has flat out sucked. Now it seems the offense approach is creeping into the pitch count. a 3-2 change-up would have nailed any of our hitters, either whiffing at it or they would have tried to pull it and grounded out. A hitter who can stay back and not try to do too much with it took a nice swing and got a hit

So Hawk and DJ think we fans are so f'n dumb that we believe that the last 6-7 games with poor starting pitchers have all magically found it and pitched career games, and it has zero to do with the Sox approach at the plate? Because that's how they're sellin' it I hate to pick on BA because he's been so solid this 2nd half, but all his swings there were dead pull, swing for the fences and all they did was tip their hats to Tavarez

when Hawk says things like "hitting coaches today have a lot of input on the lineup" it makes me think he's basically saying Walker has a huge hand in running this trash lineup out there.

Hawk should be set on fire for saying the Sox organization has a good approach to hitting. The numbers may be there, but the approach the last month has been an f'n joke Maybe when we bring these pull monkeys in they should tell them "hey, try going the other way"

if you want to be sick, watch a Marlins game. if the Sox had 1/2 that fire they would be walking away with the WC

this may be the first time I ever mute Hawk and DJ. If they give Tavarez any credit for pitching a good game tonight it's off. He is bad. His ERA is 4.90, and that's with all relief appearances except one. I love how RH's hit about 70 points better off of Tavarez than LH, yet there's Pods!!!
