A few things I noticed: There's more branching off with Sox message boards, and this board has become more mature. In addition to people just growing up, the language filter has been added and there were quite a few members part of the "bassment" who left/were banned. I like it more here than about three years ago when it was "can somebody make me a sig?" or "to Join {blah, blah, blah} fan club, PM me."

Right. Not a single NL player can be a solid contributor to an NL team. That's a law. His NL numbers are better than Griffey's, and his splits against LHP are sick. If he was on the roster instead of Anderson I doubt Ozzie would be playing Wise over him.

I thought it was good, but not as great as the reviews it's getting. I didn't think Robert Downey Jr was that funny and Jack Black had a few decent lines. The main "cameo" was much more than and I thought he was the best in the film. Danny McBride had a good character as well. I loved the ending.

He's looked great in Florida. I'd take him over Swisher and Griffey right now.

That's something I wish my HS school had more of. I took Calculus as a senior in high school, which was pretty much unheard of, and would've liked to have taken AP Chemistry instead of honors chemistry. I was shocked to find out how many classes you could take in high school for college credit. Would've saved me a little dough and few more headaches.

Installing cameras everywhere isn't cheap nor is it going to be to pay someone to try and watch 100 monitors at once for illegal activity. Let's say someone watching the camera sees a small dope deal going down. What is he/she supposed to do? Immediately call the police? By the times the cops get there chances our something more serious occured on the other 99 monitors, nobody saw it, the police are now at another scene, and nobody will be at the current scene of the crime because they'll know better to leave immediately. It'd be a complete waste of cash.

So money, not trading within the division, was the #1 priority on Shapiro's mind. So how much cash are the Red Sox going to trade to the Indians for a $2 million contract, $1?

Ok, and I was simply saying the same appeals process for these two different methods of giving out tickets is bulls*** and not easy. I can't find the post at the moment but someone mentioned that these don't count as moving violations. What sense does that make? If a cop catches you running through a yellow/near red light, he/she is going to write you up and its a moving violation. One driver's ed teacher told me going through a light like that should be considered racing because by definition you are driving up against a timed event. Not counting as a moving violation screams "cash cow" to me as people will be more inclined just to pay the fine instead of fighting it. I recall reading a story where hundreds of people were assigned tickets because the cameras incorrectly read their plates while they were turning right on red but with a green arrow.

So when a cop pulls someone over he writes the ticket to person who owns the plates on the car, not the driver? Really?
