Uh Uh! While I agree (for the most part) with the Bush Administration's policies re. Israel, that's pretty much where it ends. I am pretty liberal otherwise; I am pro-choice, pro-environment, anti-censorship, however I am anti-gun control and pro-death penaty. I guess I'm all over the place, really!

The environment, the economy, civil rights, the unemployed, etc., can't take four more years of that imbecile Bush running the US into the ground!!!

It pisses me off that Sammy is gonna "slide" on the steroids issue! That guy is "teflon"...nothing sticks to him. That's what sucks about politics! It should be ONLY about who'd be a better President, not about the candidates' personal lives! Should we care that Mr. X smoked pot in college, or Candidate Q likes to wear dresses, etc.? HELL NO!!! All that SHOULD matter is who's best for America! The disputed (I will not use the term "occupied") territories, were never Palestinian territories. (They could have been IF Arafat had agreed to Clinton's Peace Initiative, but the "palis" want ALL of Israel, not just the disputed territories; that much is obvious!!!) If the "palis" would EVER show that they respect Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state, they might have a nation of their own. Until they do so, the "palis" don't deserve anything!

Be careful what you call propaganda...there are A LOT of regular Soxtalk posters who believe EVERYTHING the "palis" say! (You know who they are!) The "palis" are grasping at straws, blaming EVERYTHING on the Jews. Then they have the "balls" to basically say, please make the big, bad Israelis tear down their evil wall, so our terrorists can attack them!

This is very close to my opinion on the Mel Gibson movie controversy. As a Jew, I feel that even IF Jews were responsible for Jesus's death, you have to remember, that was 2000 years ago! To the best of my knowlewdge, Jesus started saying things that were counter to Jewish practices, and the Jewish leaders felt they had to stop him from doing so. History is full of instances wherein people were killed because their ideas were seen as counter to tose of others, i.e the "witches" at Salem. You'd like to think that we have evolved from this way of thinking...(too bad that there are Radical Muslims who haven't!!!) The greatest fear that I, as a Jew, have from the Gibson movie, is that people who are already anti-Semitic will be even more so after seeing it, and that it will enflame more hatred towards Jews.
