  1. You get season tickets and you live in New Jersey? Dayum.
  2. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:30 PM) A ticket is not a license to be a douchebag. You got attacked for no reason a few years ago, right? You have more room than any of us to talk.
  3. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:27 PM) So do you know what you are talking about any longer? I was responding to the smoke being blown in my face. Common sense here please. Neither of these things I am talking about just happen to be "part of being in a big group of people." It is called considerationg for others around you. Clarify yourself next time. Common sense here please. I just think you expect too much from 18,000 people. When I was at the game in Milwaukee there was a group of idiot Brewers fans in front of us who stood up most of the game and all 10 of them had signs which they would hold up during the game.
  4. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:20 PM) So no one sits in the rows behind or in front of me? Common sense here please. Where would the people be walking up and down the aisles from? Umm, they're going to and from the food stands and bathrooms. And when people get up in front of you, they are walking, not standing in most cases. It's not like they were standing the whole time, were they? (And if people who are standing up behind you are bothering you, thats a little bit weird. Common sense here please.) It's just part of being in a big group of people.
  5. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:16 PM) Smoke being blown in my face and not being able to see what is going on 90% of the time = awful experience!!!!!!!!! I'm sure it was 90% of the game. You said you were the only people in your row, how can people be blowing smoke in your face? People walking up and down the aisle doesn't distract me at all. They are gone in the blink of an eye. And you said nobody else was in your row so you obvisously didn't have people getting up and trying to get by you at any point.
  6. I don't see how all of this adds up to an "awful" experience.
  7. Isn't his brother a standout HS player on the southside?
  8. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 20, 2005 -> 10:24 PM) No question about it, When pike dropped 24 on the kings.
  9. The game last night was a great moment for me. Being there just made it even better. Ben hitting the jumper to seal the victory and homecourt was just awesome. Another moment that sticks out in my mind was the Dallas game at home when we were about 4-14 or around there. We lost in OT (maybe even 2OT) but that was the first time I saw "it" in this team. Ever since then they have been on a tear.
  10. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 20, 2005 -> 10:06 PM) The Bulls have no picks in the upcoming draft. That's what I'm saying. In the years past we would be counting on making good picks, but this offseason all we need to do is resign guys to keep this nucleus together. This team has me so excited!!
  11. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 20, 2005 -> 09:59 PM) Nocioni and harrington should be our bench too... How f***ing deep will we be next year? Dayum We don't need a good draft this year. I still can't believe we had 4 impact rookies this season. It's rare too see that many in any sport, especially basketball. I can't wait to watch this team grow together.
  12. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Apr 20, 2005 -> 10:00 PM) That kinda makes it seem like the heterosexuals aren't being the good parents then, if they are breeding that kind of intolerance. It's just part of growing up. Middle schoolers are the meanest kids you will ever meet.
  13. But, IMHO, if a kid has gay parents he will be tormented all his life. Is it right? Of course not, but it will happen. I'm not sure where I stand on this issue..
  14. LOL That was awesome seeing the Bulls bench guys, really their bench bench (Gordon and Tyson are their real bench), almost come back and beat the Pacers starters. Pargo gave me a heart attack when he almost hit that last shot. The Pacers were celebrating too soon.
  15. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 20, 2005 -> 11:59 AM) There was a Bulls game too.... That's what kept me from going. If I wasn't at the Bulls game I would have been at the Cell. I saw lots of Sox fans there too. The guy next to me was keeping me up to date on the score using his cell phone.
  16. I just got back from the game. What a great time. The atmosphere was amazing. Home court, baby! And Ben IS the ROY AND the 6th man. Skiles is also Coach of the Year. Did that last shot remind any of you of Michael Jordan's last shot?
  17. QUOTE(Y2HH @ Apr 19, 2005 -> 11:55 AM) Pretty amazing that they elected him being he was in the Hitler youth, although he was a reluctant member, who wouldn't say they were reluctant members in this day? Still suprising. But...long live the Pope! -y2 The Hitler Youth was equal to the Boy Scouts here in America. The Media is just trying to stir the pot.
  18. That's awesome! I remember reading that thread when you told all of us about this issue. It was very sad and I'm glad to see a little bit of good came out of it.
  19. I'll be at the game tonight. It should be a fun time!
  20. I'm suprised Stewert is the only person to ever face Jose. Let's hope that works in our favor. Lets go Jose!
  21. It turns out that I have a torn Labral in my shoulder. It is a tissue that basically holds the shoulder together. I'm having an MRI next Monday for further testing. I'm hoping physical therapy will be enough to fix it, but it's not likely. I might have to have arthroscopic surgery..
  22. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Apr 17, 2005 -> 09:43 PM) Man, I've had this game for like 3 months now and I still have 20 games left in my first season. I need to quit my girlfriend, job, and school and just concentrate on this for a while I'm thinking the same thing. I'm still in September of my first season but I doubt I ever go back to it now. Online is so much better.
  23. Yeah the weather was freezing. We went on SB a few years ago (mid-march) and being an idiot, I only brought one pair of pants thinking that it is California. One more thing, there are lots and lots of Asians. And oh yeah, my stay there got off to a terrible start because the first night there, I was walking around the city with my dad just checking things out. We went into this sporting goods store that appeared to be family run. A gang walked in and my dad told me to get out quickly. Apparently, one of the gang members had tried to pickpocket my dad and he stopped him, then got me out of there. As we were walking out, everyone in the gang ran out with a throwback jersey and went running down the street. It was kind of scary and I felt really bad for the owner of the store.
  24. My relationship with my ps2 is love hate. Sometimes I'll play it everyday for two weeks, then I won't play it for a month. I'm just back into the ps2 mode for now. I'll get sick of it by next week.
  25. Norton has let me down lately. Maybe I should try McAfee?
