  1. Now how big is that run given up in the top of the inning?
  2. The Cubs announcer just said Tony Clark is the tallest player in major league history at 6'7. RJ? Rauch? You'd think he wouldn't forget about RJ because the game is in Arizona of all places.
  3. Thanks for the pics! It looks great, I can't wait to make it out there.
  4. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 10:14 PM) I would argue with that statement, but that team's best player is on the DL. Frank?
  5. We better kick their f***ing ass in the second round. They're a bunch of little b****es.
  6. Reiner got screwed up the ass right there. Bulls*** call by the refs. I'm beginning to hate the Heat.
  7. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 08:55 PM) Noc may not have been ejected. They sent him to the back so we don't have another Pacers/Pistons scene. You're right, they didn't announce that he was ejected. Only Haslim the little b**** was officially tossed.
  8. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 08:52 PM) And Ben loves getting shoved by Zo when he's shooting I'm just bored because this game has sucked.
  9. Wow Noch didn't do anything. Wade is a little flopping b****.
  10. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 08:29 PM) Wow Ben just got raped It's not rape if you like it.
  11. Jose botched a routine grounder at third today that gave the Giants the go ahead run.
  12. Shaq is out with a stomach virus tonight!!!! (per sportscenter)

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 02:42 PM) cool. Proper name, verb, and noun all-in-one... so you've got that going for you. thanks
  15. Damn it now I have to read 30 pages of East of Eden because I blew off reading it but was informed by a friend that we're going to have a quiz over it tomorrow.
  16. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 11:02 PM) not luther's fault. With how risky the illini played tonight, it was bound to happen. Luther played a hell of a game and put up countless 3's to keep us in the damn thing. Yeah it just would have been awesome if he could have knocked one of those down. Argh I need to stop thinking about it and think of the Sox and Bulls.
  17. QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 10:59 PM) He did lead your team in points.. Yeah but at the end he cost them the game. That kickout was telegraphed and he had two great looks at the basket and could have been the hero.
  18. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 10:56 PM) Meh, not for me In all honesty if the sox lost game 7 of the world series after a great season I'd be crying me eyes out. I make that comparison cause I know for some of you the Illini are your number one team like the sox are for me. Like willie said some people live and die by there teams, I know I do with the sox and I know others do with this team. Yeah man, I remember in 2000 when we got swept away by the M's I cried a lot. I was only in 6th grade at the time, but it still sucked. I couldn't imagine if it was the WS after having the greatest season in the history of the franchise. Also, after we lost this kid, a cubs fan, called me and rubbed it in my face that we lost. I didn't become friends with him again until this year. So yeah, I took that loss pretty hard.
  19. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 10:49 PM) I find it funny how fans take it worse than the actual players. I sure didn't see illini players screaming obscenitites. The players looked more shocked than anything after the game. And the players usually don't get as mad because they had control over what happened, the fans don't. We just sit there in agony as the game goes down the tubes.
  20. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 10:42 PM) Perspective is how most of the people on this board are handling things, not being a complete ass. People have choices. Most chose the route of having some class, don't you think? Yeah but some people are just as much Illini fans as they are Sox fans if not more. If the Sox had their best season ever but couldn't win a ring I would be devastated and pissed off. Maybe later some people will look back and calm down, but those first few minutes really suck after a big loss. I'm suprised I'm not too angry that I got screwed out of a possible $300 win in my pool.
