QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 10:03 PM) OK. Anybody want to introduce me to GOOD rap? Is it kinda like being shot in the back of the head instead of being burned to death? I like Sage Francis, I can't speak for his first album because I haven't heard it but anything off this album I'd endorse. It's not really like what you hear on the radio.

maybe you aren't looking in the right places.

i thought the roflsberger td call was pretty accurate at the time, i thought i saw it break the plane. and the d-jack interference, there was some pushing, it's a judgement call.

honestly, what the hell happened to the bulls thread?

I hope I don't grow up to be so bitter that I hold grudges over stupid s*** like internet conversations and get off by making digs out of context. Actually, I think that qualifies as growing old, not growing up.

QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 02:47 PM) It's too difficult to choose just two songs, but here you go: Rolling Stones: Street Fighting Man Jimi Hendrix: All Along The Watchtower And I'll just go ahead and choose two songs from my favorite band: Beatles: We Can Work It Out Beatles: In My Life And Bob Dylan too, although they're both from bootlegs: Don't Think Twice, It's Alright (Live In Manchester 1965) Idiot Wind (NY Sessions Outtake 1974) I don't know if you've heard the Mike Ness cover of this song, but it's pretty badass.

Well I said 34-10, it was 21-10. I think we can all still agree I'm a genius.

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 05:22 PM) Can everybody tell who Fat Ass Chris Berman is pulling for in the Superbowl? The Seahawks are slightly higher than the White Sox on Berman's Totem Pole. Berman picked the Seahawks. I pick the Steelers, 34-10.

i'm not saying the judge didn't have legal precedent, i just think it's stupid that he did and the law itself is stupid.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 09:56 AM) They didnt drink one time and get caught, they got caught twice, and they shoved it in the law's face. I love how you like to point out that it is a victimless crime BECAUSE someone didnt get hurt, but you refuse to admit that alcohol COULD get these kids killed. What would have happened if these kids would have gotten through prom without getting caught, went to a post prom party at one of their houses, partied some more, and then drove home and plowed into a tree? Wouldnt be so victimless then, would it? You cant even begin to determine what these cops prevented, because you are so hell bent on trying to prove that these cops and the judge were somehow sore-asses and mean and carried vendettas because they followed the law. I love this "what if they had hurt someone?" crap. If they hurt someone then they would be convicted of that crime, just like any other situation ever. But they didn't, and you can't hang them for what might have happened. You deal with what did happen. Yes, alcohol can get people killed, so can alot of things. Too much cough medicine can get people killed. And to the guy who said child porn is a victimless crime, uh where the hell do you get that? Seems like there are victims to me. The drinking age is 21 because when Nancy Dole was secretary of transportation she wouldn't give the states funding for highways unless they went along with her. That's IT. It's f***ing stupid, and people who defend it have no f***ing clue.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 2, 2006 -> 07:09 PM) almost as funny as your defense of underage drinking. But not quite that funny. do you know why the drinking age is 21? research it and then tell me that it's justified har har har.

QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 2, 2006 -> 08:28 PM) Ugghhh... I must say it... Until one of those carefree teens hurts you or someone you love. Sorry Spiff... and I do know what you're saying... but this judge has a long and strong rep of being a hard ass on underage drinking. He was only trying to get them on the right track. Sadly.. it took a jail term to do it. Yeah, well they didn't hurt anyone. You don't punish people for crimes they could possibly commit. As it was they didn't hurt anyone. Victimless crime; and if you want to relate it to "yourself", how would you like it if you were drinking underage, didn't hurt anyone, and you still got 2 weeks in jail?
-
Well, what language do they speak?

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Feb 2, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) Civil disobedience is still disobedience and your logic is totally flawed. There is a word that defines the condition that exists when people decide what laws they're going to obey. That word is anarchy. funny stuff
-
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Feb 2, 2006 -> 06:09 PM) Laws are on the books for a reason. You cant sit there and say "well we're not going to enforce this law for blah blah reason". If you think its ok for kids to drink at a younger age then petition your government to change the law. Until such time as they change it then respect the law. does the phrase "civil disobedience" mean anything to you? i'm not saying these kids had any moral purpose to what they did, but "obey the law because it exists" is a stupid argument, especially in this case because of why the drinking age is what it is.
-
Did I say murders and rapists should be let go if not caught in the act? No. Thanks for putting words in my mouth. This (drinking underage) is a victimless crime.
-
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Feb 2, 2006 -> 05:39 PM) Chill out and leave them alone?! They broke the law once and got off with not even a slap on the wrist. They break the law again, defy the Judge's specific orders not to and throw it in his face to boot?!!? They deserve some jail time. If they were caught doing it in the act I'd agree but the judge is just being a sore ass.
-
I'd be pissed too if I was those kids. The judge just needs to chill out and leave them alone. Just because they hurt his feelings doesn't mean he should be able to drag them into court and put them in jail for two weeks. And yes I realize they acted like idiots for putting pictures online of them violating his "order".

I can drink beam and cokes all day and all night and never get sick of em. Ill mix vodka but I don't drink it straight. I love SoCo and coke too (try mixing it with root beer). Gin tastes like pine trees, tequila is gross and sour but I'll drink shots of it if offered (or hammered and feeling manly). The funny thing about vodka is that the whole point of it is that it's colorless, odorless, tasteless, and people say they can only drink Grey Goose or other expensive stuff (I think vodka has become trendier than tequila honestly). Well there's no difference to me, I'll drink Popov or Rubinoff or whatever cheap handle is on sale.

I don't want Mark Bell and Tyler Arnason, they suck.

I have been playing it the last few days (ps2) and it really pisses me off how s***ty people can be. Putting backup linemen at tight end so they can run toss left, toss right all day, running the hurry up offense the whole game, stupid s*** like that. It seems impossible to find people who will just play a normal, fair game. If anyone does wanna play a regular game lemme know. I also have nhl 2k6 if anyone wants to try that. I've found it's harder for people to be a s***head in that game.
