There is a true story about how a man dies. This man goes to church with his wife. He quickly falls a sleep. He is dreaming about the French Revolution and he has been caught by the French and is about to be guillotined. All these guys that claim to be insiders, including that jag from boston, usually end up knowing nothing at all. They are usually wrong about every move and about every player going somwhere. After hearing him insist that the ARod deal was back on, even when all sides involved claimed there was no truth to it, makes it very hard to take anything this guy says seriously anymore.

5.05 ERA for the Royals last year? What did they add that will change that? Santiago is too old. Why are they ranked so high? Twins lost Guardado, Hawkins, Milton, and Pierzinski. Why are they ranked that much higher than us? I don't get it. However, we are finally not SUPPOSED to do anything, so maybe this is our year. The last couple years we were supposed to compete for the division title and won nothing. I have a good feeling about this year. No one is expecting us to do anything. I love it.

I don't see how Cleveland has got better. I think this is just speculation that the young kids will start maturing and play better. I really don't get that though, how you can have faith in Cleveland's young guys, but not your own. I haven't seen much promise out of many of Cleveland's young guys. KC seems to be everyone's team. People love Tony Pena. I don't see their starting pitching being very good this year. Would you rather have our pitching staff or theirs? I would take ours. I think we will be able to match their scoring. This is just speculation, but I don't think Beltran will be there the whole year. They can't afford him. Minnesota has lost a lot of players. Key players. Their bullpen is devastated. Their starters are not very good besides Santana. Their line up was never very good. I look at this division and I still think it is ours for the taking. Everyone has weaknesses including us. I find it easier to believe in our guys coming through than any other team in our division.

I agree with you as well Brando. With the agressive style Ozzie is going to bring over I think we will do very well. Our defense should be just as good if not better than it was at any point last year. I think Willie has more range and a better arm than Alomar. If he is good at turning double plays then he will be really good. Is Rowand worse than Everett was in center? I highly doubt it. I know he isn't tops at the position, but Everett was far from great in center either. The only thing I see hurting us right now is our lack of a #4 and 5 starter and a left handed bat in the line up. Besides that I really like our team. I think it will be an exciting year!!! The last couple years have been huge disappointments. Expecting division titles and getting nothing!! Watching the cubs go to the playoffs and actually winning a playoff series. This year if we don't win it will be disappointing to me, but not as bad as the previous 2 years. I think we are going to have a fun club to watch. I can't wait!!!

Aboz, please don't say that. Harris needs as many supporters as possible. He needs positive attitudes to push him into a positive direction. I believe we need Harris to do well in order to contend. I am personally rooting for him to do well, because if he doesn't our team probably wont do well. If he sucks for the first 6 weeks of the season, we will not be doing very well. I believe Ozzie can say anything he wants about the Cubs as well. The person who wrote that about Ozzie, the White Sox organization, and it's fans is either a cub fan or a closet cub fan. As far as this year being all about Ozzie, maybe that is a good thing. Didn't Dusty bring that last year? As soon as something bad would happen to his club, such as the Sosa corking incident, he tried to draw attention to himself. Remember when the quote he had about blacks and hispanics? That was not a mistake my friends, that was intentional to draw attention to him and away from his players.

Hmm, he was asked specifically about Frank in the question. The reporter asked specifically about Frank. Not about everyone else. Ozzie then went on to say this is not just for Frank, but the whole team. Putting it that way is way different than stating "all 25 guys and Frank," which is the way you put it. If there is not much interpretation to it, then why do people seem to be interpreting it different ways?

That's funny. This is the same argument I used as to why Ozzie mentioned Frank. He was specifically asked about Frank. Then he talked about him. He didn't single him out. Just as Maggs and CLee are not being singled out here. He was simply asked a question about Maggs and CLee and not about Frank and Konerko. Do you see how things can be blown out of proportion or interpreted the wrong way, usually the way the media would like to interpret it.

Actually he hit .234. I was talking about Konerko and not Frank. In my opinion Frank had a great year last year. Yes, his BA wasn't as high as he is used to, but he carried us for a good period last year.

I don't ever remember them saying that Brees is their future. Why was Doug Flutie playing for half the year while their future was riding the bench? I mean they were out of the playoffs in early Oct. If you are out of the playoffs you start the young guys, well unless you are da Bears and coach Juron. Nah, Brees is not the future. They need a QB.
