  1. It is why I'm not that worried about the team. A bunch of people are playing out of spots.
  2. I prefer Rey Lo the reliever vs. Rey Lo the starter. I think he has a legit bright future as a reliever.
  3. If they want to score 4 goals everytime I complain around halftime I'm okay with that
  4. He was set-up to fail. We all knew he couldn't go 6 innings and that has been the case so many times with TLR's handling of Dallas.
  5. If it is any solice -they have played the best 5-10 minutes of offense to start the 2nd half that I've seen in the past 3 games. Not that it says much.
  6. If they finish the game the way they played this half - I think you have to make a coaching change. This team is horrendous looking and playing WELL below its talent level. Like talk about coming out flat and just getting out played...this has been the case in 3 straight US games. A ton of unforced errors on the offensive side of the ball and just all around sloppy play. They are crippled without a midfielder like Bradley, etc who can control the field and help make plays at the front. And I never really liked Bradley. Or they need an Altidore type to take pressure of Christian.
  7. It is why I said at the time of the trade - the Cubs did extremely well - they bought low on a guy with a high upside (not ever going to be Craig Kimbrel career wise, but he is certainly going to put up a lot more combined value over his tenure than Kimbrel and was a great bounce back candidate given his plus stuff). Add in a Madrigal and while I could understand the trade, it was a trade I WOULD NOT have made. That said - I hope kimbrel crushes it and Sox win a championship because of him.
  8. His ERA was relatively respectable at the ASB - I wonder if this has more to do with him just completely breaking down after having not pitched that long over the past handful of seasons. Keuchel had a run where he was pretty solid - but he always struggled 3rd time through but than more recently it has obviously been a disaster.
  9. Yeah I literally don’t know what they are doing with him. Makes no sense unless they think they need to save him for stretch run but he never gets used and isn’t developing but he also is usually pretty good.
  10. Early data says the booster is incredible…I will be getting mine when they say to do so…but I know moderna needed to go back and get some data cleaned up that will delay their boosters…but early results in Israel have been extremely promising…as in 4 or 5 times stronger than the original vac (which was already amazing).
  11. In this case it makes total sense. Kopech was awful. He has had a few rough outings over past month. Wish they stretched him out sooner just so he could get through more of this sooner. Also - this has been the rule for as long as I can remember…but it is rarely done.
  12. What i don't get is - they won't take an experimental vaccine - but they will take a shitton of other experimental meds.
  13. Exactly - it isn't like the team is that good and no matter what Fields is going to take time. You run him out now - starting the season against two of the 5-10 best defenses in the league (Rams & Browns), with an oline that was injuried through most of trainin camp, while he is already inexperienced...could he overcome it, sure...but why chance that vs. let him sit and soak things in a bit. Waiting isn't going to hurt him - getting him out too early and having him seeing ghosts or getting happy feet because he isn't ready...that could just create bad habits that do impact his long run. 4 of the greatest QB's in NFL history sat out of the gate - Patrick Mahomes (not the length but he sat), Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, and Tom Brady (obviously no would have have started him right away). There are also exceptions - like Peyton Manning and many others...but I am very happy Bears are waiting. They are going to wait until he can just play and get a half season under his belt (worse case). Best case Dalton is actually pretty decent and Fields gets to just watch for a year and be that much more ready (nothing wrong with that either).
  14. Maybe - but money shouldn't be an issue. Edit: You are right - he is an RFA.
  15. Cutler on McAfee show a few days ago was hillarious. I miss Jay on the Bears - so sad they didn't put the right parts around him early in his career. Dude was just so physically talented. Also - if people haven't seen it - watch Kurt Warner dissect Fields preseason play. Its a really good watch...maybe not super entertaining as Warner is dry...but his QB analysis is fantastic (way better than all those random youtubers who circle stuff up and really don't know what they are talking about). Warner goes next level and in general - I think any Bear fan will come away pretty impressed...but as Warner points out, there is clearly work to do. Let the oline gel under Dalton - than shift to Fields in the middle of the year (unless they are somehow rolling).
  16. I don’t have cbs sports so was on the Spanish broadcast. I thought it was the poor steaming quality - who knew it was actually the camera quality.

Nice - I'm hoping a month and a half from now I'm commenting on my 15 points and than from there at a good sustainable place. Keep up the good work Balta!!!
  18. Yeah - Millsap was the better fit for sure. I think Vanderbilt from wolves wouldn’t be a horrible choice as a runner up. More upside but obviously more risk. I do think good shot Aldridge ends up on roster if he does play.

Just basic - push-ups and sit-ups. I hate lifting weights - so that should tell you I do not have a muscular build haha. That said - did six cardio workouts last week - 3 runs and 3 bike rides. This week I’ve ran three times so far and a bike ride, with one day off. Feeling good. First week I was running about 10 min miles on avg but with reverse splits (so slow as shit - to slow to somewhat slow). This week I have 10 miles of running in - dropped my avg mile down a full minute (so all runs this week we’re sub 9 minute miles). Yesterday was my fastest overall mile which I did on final mile - just under 8:30 and i finished it with a sub 8 minute half mile. Have continued to eat very well. Down 7 lbs in last 2 weeks.
  20. Horrible looking performance so far vs. a lousy El Salvador team.
  21. hope your wife gets better quickly and also hope you all are able to not get infected.
  22. I had no issue with your comment -> more pointing out / reiterating the prosecution perspective. I agree with pretty much everything you have ever said on COVID.
  23. Lets be clear in this example - person thought they had allergies...instead had COVID. Someone can say they still shoudln't have or whatever...but this wasn't someone who woke up, tested positive for COVID, or who was feeling terrible who walked into a school. The point is - masks matter, etc...but I'm not about to be ushering said teacher to prison....come on.
