Wow, I'm totally taken back all this. This has to be one of the biggest disasters not related to war in the last 50 years.
-
Everythings been taken care of, so I'm going to close this thread. But I do appreciate the pm's and post that brought this to our attention And wino, your one of the coolest people ever. ; Always knowing how to make me laugh, even if we see a 180 on politics

I think you see an infielder brought in and thats it. Of course when you think about it, Cora, Cairo, Igutchi and Zaun may be the only guys left that the Sox would even consider. SO they could still fill two needs by targeting less than a handful of guys. Thats 4 players and a handful is 5 ; Thats if you read Kenny exactly. Of that bunch maybe its worth taking a shot on Igutchi being worth it, especially from the PR standpoint. I mean I think Willie can put up numbers similar to Cora although I like the idea of Cora as well.

My sis got that for xmas. She uses her pod like nobodies business. I got to say, that bose thing might be one of the most badass things ever. Awesome sound and not too bad considering your ipod just syncs right in. She freaking loves it, my folks hate it, lucky for me we have the same taste in music

Ya, in fact I think that fault had two extremely large earthquakes in a very short period.
-
Ya, he's expected to be a catcher from now on. Although that could change.

- XM Radio for my car (Just put it in, but I think I'm going to return it for the time being; It doesn't fit right on my car and prevents my use of my storage bin which I use all the time); - Star Wars Trilogy DVD's (Watched a New Hope last night); Looking forward to seeing the rest of them again, its been a while. - New Blankets for my bed (I don't want to hear a joke about this, lol) - Some Vonzipper Snowboard Goggles (awesome gift from the sis) - Xbox Live - A sweater from my aunt My granparents gifts have yet to arrive, but probably money, hehe, which I could use at Fest ; It was a great Christmas.

Anytime I see both of ya online at the same time. I'm at work right now, but I can sign on real quick and see if Cerb is on too.

And I will continue to defend Willie Harris until he sucks ass this year. He showed enough out of me for a rookie last season and I think he got the royal screw job by Ozzie.
-
Thats a lot of money for Millwood. I'd of given him that much in incentives but thats way too much guaranteed.

My thoughts exactly. But I have no idea how interested Philly is in cutting Lieberthal without getting much in return. I'm assuming they wouldn't have much use for Everett, but then again, last year they were looking for a power outfield bat and tried to get Walker or Finley. I'm assuming someone like Ben Davis would go to Philly as well(I don't know if he can be dealt now since the Sox non-tendered him and then signed him). However, I don't know if Philly would give up both of them. I think they just need to free up a little bit of cash, but if they did need to free up that much, that deal would definately improve the club and the Sox seem to have the finances to do it, imo.

Just remember, the great John Starks once was a Bull
-
You know it...the real reason was cause I don't know how to spell his name and am too lazy to look it up, lol.

Bmac and Sween

Zaun would be a very nice pickup. Solid defensive catcher, good offensively. Serious upgrade over Ben Davis.
-
Haha, I remember you and HSC arguing over Olivo all the time LDF, lol.
-
I bet at this point, you could re-acquire Olivo at less value then his potential. But I don't think Ben Davis/Jamie Burke is the answer.
-
Would the Phils do a deal involving Everett as the main piece for Lieberthal? If so I'd be all over the idea of that. Lieberthal is a good catcher, both offensively and defensively. And is a hell of an upgrade over Ben Davis. Catcher is the one spot that scares me, along with El Duque's health.
-
I agree with you, but would Philly really do it? Are they that desperate to get rid of him, especially since they would have to send cash the Sox way.
-
This guy sounds like a solid pickup. I'm assuming he isn't going to get anymore then 2 mill. He's just 30 so he's got plenty of time left and seems to be peaking all of a sudden the past two years. I'm assuming roids aren't crazy out there so the guy must just be putting things together. If he's got good speed and is a good baserunner that be even better. I think he'd be a very good defensive 2nd baseman although its hard to say, but based on readings the guy seems promising.

Welcome Aboard Duke

Ahhh yes, it was truly a great day when I was searching through random stats a few years back and was like holy f*** Mike check out this Castro guys numbers. We just figured he was roster fodder and then saw he was an 18 year old lefty at the time. Fab's got some potential, but you got to wonder about durability. It will be good seeing how he does at the higher levels, but I don't know if he'll pitch much in Bham this year or not. I'm assuming he'll start the season in WS.
