Colon freaking sucks. Man was he awful tonight. Thank god Ortiz came in and I could finally see someone decent pitch for the Angels. Speaking of which, I think Ortiz is on the verge of figuring it out and wouldn't be a bad pick up for the Sox. Also note that the Angels are screwed with Colon's contract. I reitirate that I can't blame JR for not giving him 4 yr 48.

It is June 7th and 8th, which is good timing. That means I can get up an article a day from June 1st on.

Last years was right at the beginning of June (1st or so). Not sure when exactly this years is. But I'm assuming first week of June.

I dunno, Scho has looked pretty solid to me. I have seen numerous pitches where I have just shrugged my shoulders thinking they were strikes in the game.

Geeze, that was a nice slider by Scho...how the hell is it not a strike. This ump has a small zone and it seems like he is calling pitches in the same spot a ball and a strike at different times. Very inconsistent., but he has been so for both teams. As I type this, ball in the dirt gets away from Alomar and a run scores.

That was a fantastic play by Magglio. He is good making those catches with his glove in an odd direction.

I was intrigued by it, but if he can play it semi decent I'll be happy. Gload is one of my favorite players on the Sox and I think he should be playing a lot more. And no offense to Crede, he's just not getting it done. However, the Indians announcers were saying that Crede is feeling pretty close to clicking.
