  1. My dates already over...but it was all good. My girl had some sorority thing (Bunch of the girls are doing something and I'm doing something with my buddies in a bit). Took her to the beach, we went to a cafe right by there and then strolled along the beach. Hopefully everyone else that is out is having a good valentines day and the same to everyone thats on the boards too
  2. Sweet Cheat and thats awesome Vince. How is the stuff??? I went with the cheap ass shipping, so I'm guessing I'll get mine sometime this up-coming week.
  3. Whats up with all the hatred of fish. As long as its cooked, yumm is it good
  4. Didn't she also go in the gunners or anti aircraft defenses that were being used to destroy our planes during the war. Protesting is one thing, but going out of the way to help a country not named the US is another. Like if someone from the States, went over and started doing bombings to blow up our soldiers, then they would be a traitor and in my opinion would never be allowed back into the states and if we caught them, they would be murdered and far deservingly. While Jane never murdered anyone first hand, you could easily suggest that she led to US soldiers being murdered and she did help the Vietkong. Apu protests the war, but he doesn't send funds to Saddam...to me there is a difference between good protests and what she did. I have nothing wrong with good protests (Remember, I am going off books and what I've been told by people I respect and work with that are knowledgeable since I wasn't around at this time).
  5. What about Kerry's voting record. Maybe I'm mistaken, but didn't he say vehemently during the Clinton years that Saddam must be taken out and then he started changing his mind. I can't say that intelligence would be any different. Its hard to believe that Saddam, went completely around the UN Sanctions and the inspectors because he had already removed all the weapons or something along those lines. Whether we find weapons or not, I still have to believe they were there. Its just not logical for Saddam to cause all that trouble and get himself captured in the end if he didn't have those weapons or wasn't in the process of building nuclear programs. Also, why did he have to bug regions so he could get to areas the inspectors were going first. I just think too much doesn't make sense about the whole situation, but like I said, WOMD weren't the only reason I was for the war. While Bush may of had other reasons then I did, I felt my reasons validated going to war, even if the presidents reasons differed in certain ways, I still agreed with the final say (Whose to say my reasons were different then his, I just had different reasons listed ahead of Bushes or at least I presume).
  6. Are those the same strings that were pulled to get him into Harvard and that got him through Harvard??? Harvard doesn't pull strings, and if you get through Harvard and earn your MBA and pass the rigurous courses then you are incredibly deserving to have a Harvard diploma and no idiot is going to do that. Also, no fool is going to be able to fly a jet which is what Bush did. I just don't get the dumb arguments and how strings were pulled. Sure the national guard was easier, but from what I've been told, they also did their time over in Vietnam (Although bush didn't). I also know people that during the war were lucky enough to be statiened in Germany and other places (and no, they didn't have any connections).
  7. If he really did those things, then I definatley believe that qualifies for treason. How do people take this lightly. I don't give a damn if he protested the war, but when it comes to encouraging people to frag people and deserting (which basically means you dont' have enough men to fight and can lead to more deaths) is wrong. This is at the battle lines, not over in the states where if you desert your doing the wrong thing, but you aren't leading to more deaths. Let me also say I think the stuff about Bush being awol is off. He missed some meetings, but thats it.

    Mono....

It could be the onset of the flu. haven't had mono though, but you probably want to go to the doctor. All I know is it takes a while to go away and from what I heard, it never permanently goes away, you alwyas have it, it just doesn't effect you (This could be one of those rumors that go around about things at school that are wrong though).
  9. I don't have the statistics but in one of my classes we discussed the vietnam war in depth and I always thought of the national guard as a do nothing position, but according to my teacher and the book during vietnam there were plenty of people in the national guard sent over and fought for this country there. Not saying Bush did, but I'm saying that just becuase you were in the national guard at that time, didn't mean you had a cushion position. I don't know if he went awol or if he didn't.
  10. Thats my problem. I'll admit GW made mistakes and that he definately had some personal flaws, but at the same time, while democrats will persecute him for those flaws (crackhead remarks, awol remarks) then when the side is flipped, its a non issue. This stuff happens both ways, but ya, to me it makes a difference when someones an adultery. I think of it as a dispicable act.
  11. Onions, Sushi and certain chinese food.

    MVP Baseball 2004

The other game that looks really sweet is All Star baseball, but also ESPN Baseball (Sega's version). For me it will come down to ESPN and MVP though, both looks like they have some awesome features. I forget which one has a AA and AAA full with the team names and you can even play the AA and AAA games if you want. Thats probably the one I'll get.
  13. hey, he's just on the atkins diet. In bio today we like disected and did an analysis on a Carls Jr' burger, some nasty stuff. Although I'm sure I'll still eat em...those famous stars are solid for 1.29.

  15. Yep, I see how it is. I guess I'll get my tshirt that says, you can't spend 1 dollar when you only have 50 cents But if you guys make these shirts, I definately need pics cause these would be the coolest shirts ever.
  16. One Persons Prank is another Mans Miracle You officially have my vote for coolest person on this board....by far
  17. My dad said he heard on the radio that Depodesta would be hired on Saturday.
  18. Its nowhere near as good...I think the only reason I watch it anymore is for the name, although I do ocassionally chuckle. Thank goodness Monday through Friday you got the syndicated episodes which are hillarious. But Family Guy has replaced it as my favorite tv show and King of the Hill (new episodes) are pretty damn hillarious.
  19. LMAO...I'm sure when he gets home from the office he'll have some news for me. I'll make sure to tell ya when he gets here. Probably an hour or so.
  20. To be honest for the last hour I've been reading for school. My dad said he hasn't heard much about it, but he's been swamped at work. You were the first to tell me what was going on. Now I'm going to get back to reading (I can only read so long and then I start to notice that I'm about to fall asleep).
  21. For Dodgers fans sake, they better hope that the new gm brings his ax with him because Tracy should be canned.
  22. I dunno Mac, I personally think Jackson is the better of the two, but they are both stellar. I haven't seen Miller though, but when I watched Jackson pitch a few games in September he was absolutely stellar for a rookie. He really looks like a guy that could be given the 5th spot and grow and turn into a legit ace. Miller is supposed to be awesome too. They are both probably top 10 prospects in all of baseball. But a rotation with Scho as the 5th (unless Jackson beats him out) for a short time and Jackson adjusting in the pen or in Charlotte (I hate seeing pitchers go their, they seem to just sputter along in Charlotte...well most top prospects we have do at least).
  23. If somehow the Sox could get Miller and Jackson for Frank Thomas (No Perez) i'd be exstatic, if they could get Miller, Jackson and Perez, I'd also be exstatic. Realistically I'd be very happy with Perez and Jackson/Miller. If the Sox got another prospect great. I wonder what the value is for Thomas on the trade market.
  24. I say Perez and Jackson for Frank and call it an offseason, well almost. Try to find a lefty bat that wouldn't cost much (in terms of salary and prospects). But ya, if the Dodgers wanted to give us Miller too and we throw in Honel (i'd deal Miller for Honel striaght up so I'd do it here too). Although I find it very unlikely that the Dodgers would give up their two best prospects, I think they will deal one, whether its Miller or Jackson who knows.
  25. This is pretty sweet....solid music too.
