Are you near the one in Ontario? Right now I'm pretty far from all of them but ashes are falling all over my car and stuff. Played football the last two days, although I probalby shouldn't of. Was drinking a lot of water cause your throat gets dry really fast.

Sounds good to me. What is your take on Centerfield. Personally, I have never thought much of Rowand. I would like to see Reed get another year under his belt, and Borchard doesn't appear to be ready. What do we do? I don't mind Rowand/Harris/Reed/Borchard but if the Sox are gonna go young at 2nd I would have no problem bringing back Kenny Lofton. He wouldn't cost much money and he has great speed and would be a great teacher for someone like Reed. Rowand has never proven anything when handed the starting job and the Sox can't have a ton of holes. At least you know whoever is in center will be able to go get em.

I've noticed one thing, free swingers get dominated in the playoffs cause the pitchers have that extra level of concentration.

I like that idea. Lightenberg would be a very good replacement to the role Sully played in the bullpen. Then if the Sox sign someone to replace Gordon, the pen is in good shape for next year. The Sox can then concentrate on getting Colon signed and finding a new middle infield combo. After that try to move who you need to (Konerko, Koch, maybe Maggs).

Cabrerra has to be playing shortstop for the Sox. I do not even want to think about Jose Valentin as the Sox starting shortstop for another season. Horrible OBP, improved defense, losing speed. At 2nd I guess Roberto is fine if its cheap, but I don't mind giving Harris a shot or signing a cheap vet that stays on the market. Maybe sign Adam Kennedy for 3 mill or so. All the talk down here in SoCal is that the Angels plan on signing Matsui or Tejada and moving Eckstein to 2nd. I guess Kennedy is a free agnet or thats what I have been reading.

I promise, this will be the final annoucnement in regards to what many have labeled, "Black Saturday" or the "Civil War". After reading many emails and having a lot of discussions with the rest of the staff, we've though about it and realized a mistake was made, namely in my part. Many mistakes were made that led up to that incident but the single largest mistake was made when we punished a mod, who had never done anything wrong. The easy way out was to simply ban all the people involved in the situation. That was the easy way, not the proper way. In hindsight Vince shouldn't of been banned. These were ludicrous accusations that belong elsewhere. And its been shown that many of the individiuals involved were basically just starting crap which they have done on many other boards. So I'm sorry for what went down that week. The site has made great steps forward the last week and that will continue with the addition of Vince, if he even accepts coming back. Thanks everyone for continually supporting this site and if anyone ever wants to see things added to the site, dont' hesitate to post them or to email me, Mark, or Alex.

So, by that thought, I can be the biggest jagoff (cheap, mean, nasty etc.), but as but as long as I go to Church and say 'Yay God" I am okay. Not trying to be a smartass, that is something that I never understood that the Catholic church seems to push - go to church, give us money and we'll pretend the rest never happened. Thats my thoughts as well. apparently you didn't read the responses to why that was a bad post... I know their are reasons to say that isn't ok. I just have my philosphy that people should be good. Good people get rewarded. I worship god at home and treat people right. I don't feel I need to go to church because I see too many people there complete jerkoffs the rest of the week. I'm not gonna accuse everyone of that cause there are plenty of good Christians.
