  1. Hawk is the man. YA HE IS!! Hawk and Whimpy kicked some ass
  2. Cabrera is awesome. I'd pinch myself if we got him. (Got to make sure I'm not dreaming).
  3. Locked Until the Game is over
  4. I'll drink to that!! And I'll drink to Alizee
  5. Ya, they think they have gotten the problem fixed. They are still running some tests and will be monitoring the site much more frequently for the next few days to ensure that all is well.
  6. Cabrera definately has a similar swing to Pujols. I hate to say Cabrerra has more upside, cause Pujols is amazing but I like the fact that Cabrera could win a gold glove, depending on where he plays. Pujols is amazing too. Both have such great approaches at the plate.
  7. Ya, its the one never before seen episode on their.
  8. I am almost positive in regards to Majewski. Now if they put him on the 40, then he's protected from how I understand it. I also think Stumm will once again be available, but whether a team takes a shot on him or not, who knows. I find it highly unlikely that a team would be willing to take him and keep him on a major league roster all season. He's already behind in progress, and another year will just screw him up more. If someone like Hankins is left on, then its a possibility. But you could see someone from the 40 dropped and Hankins added to it.
  9. God....that video is really sad. Just seeing his face, makes me feel really sorry for him. For god sakes he didn't intend on costing his favorite team the game. Man, I hope he gets through it. That has to really blow. Seems like a pretty good guy too from the things his family/friends/and parnets of the team he coached say.
  10. I think that Gary Majewski is once again out there to be exposed. Not positive on that. I know BA does a list of the best guys available later in the year. Also, I'm just guessing but maybe Ryan Hankins.
  11. I hit about 10 hr's and 3 singles, didn't strike out. Best I could get was .16 sec Very cool.
  12. I'd guess that Wakefield may come on for the save.
  13. I was all bummed seeing Mac dressed in Cubs gear. I didn't catch all of the seventh inning stretch, What did he say?
  14. I got it too. Only watched the first 4 episodes thus far. But it kicks ass. Definately worth it
  15. This is cool. I Think the Sox need some good Pr and while renovations aren't as good as signing a stud player, if it helps brings fans then its a definate plus. Plus if it makes the park cooler for the diehards always showing up, then its a nice Thank you to all of them.
  16. Great game so far. I sure hope the BoSox can win this and stay alive.
  17. Its a wise move to get them both on the roster. Both could be valuable to the Sox as early as next season. I don't think this means Daubach is gone just yet.
  18. I think the one difference is that Fullmer has always been a starter. Daubach never really had been over full seasons. The production of Fullmer is pretty much .285, 25 HR, 70 RBI or so (Depends on the team) and a .355 or so OBP Those are very solid numbers and are superior to Daubach, whom I also like and would like to see back. While it would be a huge downgrade on paper to see Thomas/Konerko turned into Daubach/Fullmer it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Mainly because that would give the Sox the flexibility to add a ss and 2nd baseman to give us a 1-2 punch and then you deal Maggs for the ability to sign Colon. Maggs gets you a starting outfielder thats good, most likely a right handed bat and a pitching prospect or two. Then the Sox use the rest of their money to shore up the bullpen and sign a guy cheap to compete for the 5th spot.

    Morning routine

Well I don't really have one on weekends, just wake up whenever, turn on tv and watch football. Around 10:30 go play football with my buddies. On Weekdays Wake up (6:35) Usually Go Back to Sleep (Anywhere from 5-20 minutes, depending on whether I want to eat breakfast, shave, or just throw on a hat and rush to school and shower when I get home) Brust Teeth Put in Contacts Shave (If I feel like it) Shower (90% of the time; sometimes I do it at night and then shower when I get home from school around 11:00) Eat Breakfast (Once again, if I feel like it) Read the Sports Page while I eat breakfast (Otherwise, take it in the car and read it while waiting for my first class to start. Usually a buddy of mine ends up reading part of it during my first class and I never end up finishing it) Hop in the Car Drive to School (Takes about 20 minutes) On the way listen to Kevin and Beane show Get out of Car....Drag my ass into class
  20. Can we trade Colon if we sign him? It wouldn't be a bad idea to sign him and see what we could get. Although I think we need pitching and a trade of Ordonez wouldn't kill me if we got good players in return. Ordonez and Konerko for Martinez and Edmonds. Martinez as in Tino Martinez? Hope you made a typo there. No reason to sign Colon and then trade him off. I'd rather have the draft pick and the flexibility of signing whomever I chose rather than being at the mercy of another team to make an offer for him. If he does indeed sign, Maggs will surely be gone, which is bittersweet for me. While I like Maggs, I do realize that a rotation of Colon, Buehrle, Loaiza, Garland and someone else could def. help us win the division more than Mags. Exactly. Pitching, PITCHING, MORE PITCHING. Who knows who they would trade Maggs to, but I guarantee the Dodgers, Angels, Padres, Cubs, Yankees, and maybe the Cardinals would be interested. I could even see the A's interested if ownership gave them approval to add someone to replace Tejada.
  21. The Angels have made it pretty much official. Fullmer will not be back next year. I'd consider Fullmer a legit option if Konerko/Thomas are gone. Last season Fullmer got hurt on June 28, but befor that he was hitting .306 with 9 HR and 35 RBI. His career ops is better then Konerko's too and best of all he can be had right around a mill, which is what he got last year. And in all honesty, I could see him getting even less since he's coming back from an injury. And at 28 he has plenty of baseball left, plus he would add a left handed bat to the Sox lineup. Fullmer also draws a ton of walks, he had 26 of them before getting injured while striking out 31 times. Works out to a .387 OBP I would love to see him in a White Sox uniform next year, and I'd love it if the Sox could unload Konerko and go to him. What an absolute bargain.
  22. Couldn't agree more. That is really dick of them.
