Just wait till the minor league board is opened It shouldn't be too far up. Once FutureSox is rolling and established that will be the next step. How's futuresox.com doing. Hits wise and opinion wise from site users? I think it's great but would be better with up-to-date rosters as well as more regular and up-to-date box scores. We've gotten good feedback on it. Still, there is a lot that has to be done. Slowly I've been working on getting the rosters updated and I'm also working on getting some semi up to the date stats (updated every 3 days or so). Right now it is nowhere the site I'd like it to be, but I also know that over time it will become that site. I have quite a few things scheduled to do during the off-season to get the site in tip top shape for next season. I will get rosters up this season, but next year I'm going to try and get bio pages on every player or as many of them as can be done. We got two big featuers coming up, one which will start tomorrow (The Draft Review). Thanks for the feedback Kip

Cubs lose another pitching prospect
For those of you that think it only happens to us, it really doesn't.

I read 94 somewhere. I think I'm drinking Cubbie Coolaid again.

Whats DMAC in your avatar stand for Kipster? I still remember when it was just me and you that would defend Kipster back in the days Kipster was the man. He was one of my favorite pitchers in the entire organization and is still one of my favorites.

Yep, he has one of the best arms of all of the outfielders in the past couple of drafts. The kid can throw in the low to mid 90's.

A Deeper Look: Putting the Sox Over the Top
I was thinking the Sox could trade him to the Yankees for a prospect or two. All we got to do is convince George that the Red Sox are going after him.

I was going to put you in charge of importing some Labatts and Molson ice to the cell. I guess we can settle for you finding us the next Eric Gagne Alex...I'm still thinking of a good job for you. Can you make good sandwiches

Lol, what can I say...we pulled an Aaron Rowand. You have to work on that swing and then you'll be back up shortly Or are you Joe Borchard, still having the talent to become a hall of famer or legend.

Mario is who I'd pick as manager. I often like his ideas for that. I'm definately up for KochThis as the baserunning coach. I know he mentions how it was always his strong suit. I think Hudler would be Minor League Director. Steff, I think I'd have you as an front office assistant in terms of helping with trades and such. You seem to know people on other teams and I think you'd be great to have talk to the players and convince them that Chicago is where they want to be.

Sounds like he fits right in with the Sox.

Fire Manuel (Again)
I don't want Torborg near any of the sox arms. I like the way he runs an offense though. I still say BACKMAN BACKMAN BACKMAN. I also have nothing against Valentine cause I think he's a firey guy who will tell his players what on their mind and isn't afraid to bench them.

Don't worry, Cerb is my stat guy. He knows how to analyze stats. I'm more of the tools approach he's a stats type guy so its a good combo.

F You Brian Daubach
The tensions are obviously high here. I wouldn't be shocked if a team of Soxtalk posters could muster up the same offensive prowess that the Sox did this series.
-
It's time...
Just get Backman here stat and send Manuel down to AA. Sorry Rex

Rick White may Start
Whats it really matter, Sox won't score any runs.

Top Prospects in baseball
Damn I forgot about Marte. He definately makes the list. That kid can hit. He crushed the ball when I was watching him down at the Carolina/California league all star game. Another guy I left off is our very own Kris Honel. I think he's one of the best pitching prospects in baseball, although he's not quite a Top 15 guy yet. Nor is Reed, but both are close. I still think the Sox could get Santana in return. I just heard that the Angels are going to be trying to add a bat or two. Angels have quite a few issues. In all honesty I could see some type of package worked out where the Sox land Adam Kennedy, Almazega, and Santana for Roberto Alomar and Frank Thomas or throw out the name Santana and Frank. Alomar, Lee or Daubbie and Loaiza and you could get Kennedy Almazega and two top prospects (One being Santana; and damn would I love to acquire Mathis) although I highly doubt these trades happen. I do think Kennedy would be a good pickup though.

Top Prospects in baseball
I'm surprsied Rich Harden didn't make the list. For me: Catchers: Joe Mauer Jeff Mathis Victor Martinez First Base: Hep Sep Choi (If you count him) Casey Kotchman Justin Morneau Adrian Gonzalez (Of the Marlins; I think thats his name) Second Base: Brandon Phillips (If you count him) -Not familiar with other second base prospects too much. Usually I don't pay much attention to middle infielders cause most of them fail. Shortstop: Jose Reyes BJ Upton Hanley Ramirez Khalil Greene 3rd Base Textiera (If you count him) Youkilis OF Miguel Cabrera - Also 3rd baseman, but if Lowell stays Cabrera will be here Nick Swisher Wily Mo Pena (if he ever got playing time) Jeremy Reed (I think he's pretty damn good) Delmon Young (Lastings Millede as well) Pitchers Harden Grienke Kazmir Floyd Ervin Santana This is just a quick look at it and I'm not quite the MLB expert as someone like Cerb or some others.

Speechless??????
Trust me Buehrle isn't going anywhere. I will not deal any of the young arms. That basically means that Garland, Wright, Buehrle, Marte and Sanders are safe. Olivo, Crede, Rowand and Harris are most likely safe as well.
