  1. Good thing I said that there was no problem with that move simply because Marte has been dominant all season. I never second guess someone when they put in the best reliever and they fail. I would if it was a case where he had pitched a lot or if you had Koch up at the same time and were going for a righty righty match-up, etc.

    Go Stanford
  3. I'm assuming, if I recall he's a very good student and he's one of the top recruits in their class, so I'd be guessing he has very close to a full ride. But thats not too important since having him sign means he doesn't get any type of scholarship other then for grades and if he gets big money I don't see him qualifying for financial aid.
  4. Were less then 500K off. The Sox have an offer of 500 thousand on the table according to BA. The Sox offered him 500 K during the draft and he turned it down and supposedly they haven't taken that offer away. I don't think they are more then 150 K off, but thats an estimate.
  5. I notice Harris does a lot of leg first slides.
  6. Blalock or Textiera are mandatory in that deal. We could let Blalock play 2nd and move Jimenez to short or simply move Jimenez elsewhere. In regards to Jose, what the hell are we doing playing him. There is no freaking way I ever want to see the Sox give him that option. That would be beyond stupid.
  7. Hows Colon work? I'm stuck at work for like another half hour before I can head home and watch the game
  8. Thats bad ass. Ian your fired
  9. Now Now, that is a Sox shirt that I'm wearing. I also got two hats, wasn't wearing any though.
  10. That was photographer Jason at work. As usual, I'm all zoned out during the picture on the top.
  11. Bottom of the Ninth: 7-5 Sox Pitching: Billy Koch -Grudzelanek Double -Patterson Strikes out Looking -Corky Single [/color] 7-6 Sox -Their is a conference on the mound *Tom Goodwin Pinch Runs for Sammy Sosa -Tom Goodwin gunned down trying to steal 2nd -Moises Alou walks -Eric Karros Flies out to Center Thats a WHITE SOX WINNER
  12. A few days before Harris hurt his shoulder I noticed him really hitting the ball hard, he's been doing the same since coming back. I really think he's finding his zone and he's going to become a starter. For now it will be in center, but who knows what happens a bit later.
  13. Top of the 9th: 7-5 Sox Alfonseca pitching -Carlos Lee grounds out to second (9 pitch at bat) -Jose Valentin strikes out looking -Joe Crede grounds out Going to the Bottom of the Ninth Top of the order due up for the Cubs.
  14. Special Thanks to Apu, he's giving me some more vivid updates on Aim compared to what I get on the gamecast I'm using.
  15. Same here bro. f***ing hate Saturdays like this when my package won't get the game. Is next Saturday's game at the Cell a night game? I think it is, cause Fox wouldn't want to broadcast a game there. I think it is too. I just know the Dodgers-Angels are always on here. I never get any of the Sox games that are meant to be on national television, unless they happen to be playing the Mariners. Why can't the MLB package let you see the alternate games.
  16. Bottom of Eighth: 7-5 Sox Flash Pitching -Leadoff single by Karros -Jose Hernandez grounds into a fielders choice (he's on first) -Flash gets up 0-2 on Harris and then Harris rips a single (1st and 2nd) -Damian Miller flies out to Maggs who barely makes the grab -Ramon Martinez pops out to Daubach to end the inning After eight 7-5 Sox Koch and Marte are warming in the bullpen.
  17. Farnie is a converted starter so he has some stamina, but I'd think he'd be done and you aren't going to see him tomorrow, imo. I'd think they'd go with Guthrie or Remlinger now. Maybe Six fingers.
  18. Crede awoke when Cali, Clujer, and I saw him in LA. I think we deserve some credit
  19. So Ian bougth the drinks today
  20. Come on Mark, keep it going. Roll TIDE ROLL
  21. Thanks... Glad to see we are on top, I wish I got this game in New Jersey. I wish I got it in cali
  22. He's been pretty dominating. Don't got numbers, but I'm just recalling the latest box scores and he's really been doing good. He has a fantastic arm, so if he developed that off speed pitch, he could of turned the corner. You never know.
  23. Got a vote in.
  24. Plus he's an absolute stud behind the plate. He shuts down the running game.
  25. He was hitting about .340 up until two or three weeks ago. Once he gets heated up and out of his slump for about a week, I'd call him up to AA.
