Sometimes the boards get a little harsh, but its all in good love.

Greg, you better hope that Kansas doesn't play in the finals so you can see the Sox home opener As far as Rios goes, he's a lefty that was signed on to replace Liefer. He's been alright with other teams, but I think he's a pretty solid role player and can play any outfield position and has some decent pop. I think he could hit .265-.275 off the bench with some pop (Much better then Liefer). Daubach has played pretty good in spring and is a definate option, especially if the Sox decided to move Lee as Daubach could come in and provide a lefthanded bat. He hits with power and should get quite a few ab's off the bench. He's probably one of the best guys on the bench in the majors. Of course the Twinkies got loads of talent on their bench. This team will contend and they will go all the way this year, barring serious injuries. I really like the entire makeup and the mood seems to be right. They aren't great defensively, but are improved and offensively they rock but pitching wise they got a great bullpen and a great rotation if Wright is alright. Wright and Garland will have very good years (16 wins a each or so ) and then you have two likely 20 game winners at the front end. Flash is a game as long as he's healthy. If he's hurt we have Stewart, Munoz, Sanders and Almonte all in the minors ready to step up if needed. We also have Ginter whose been lights out during spring training down in AAA. I really like our chances, we got depth in every area so if a guy goes down, we'll have a way to replace him (may not be as good, but still good teams have depth)

He's got the fact that he was a first round pick to rush him up. If he pitches lights out, he'll shoot by a lot of guys. We may have 3 lefty relievers on the southside next year in Marte, Munoz, and Ring. I don't think Wunsch is bad either, so we'll have plenty of good battles. This season is going to rock

Ya, thats my job If it was up to Mario, we'd have no boards. I'm the same way though. As long as people stay clean with eachother its all good. Like you two even though your going back and forth, seem to be able to handle all that rage the two of you throw out, so it ain't our business to get in the way.

Heck ya I'd take Tai Streets, but only for like one or two of our comp picks.

Close means public transitable, I doubt I'll be driving. Any suggestions are certainly appreciated. You can hitch the subway from pretty much anywhere, and thats the best way to go to the park if your in the city.

Your just a phone call away from the majors
-
Wow this went waaaaaaayy off topic, and got extra hostile.
-
Chris, I know he's one of your guys and I hope he comes through. This will be a big year for him cause if he does things right, he'll be in the Southside next year.

"a 1 in 2 innings"? a hit thats what I meant to say, lol. Been a long day.

Chisoxfn, Since you live very near Anaheim Stadium, I'll assume you've been there more than once. Where's a good place to sit? I've been to 2 games there, so I really don't know a whole lot about it. I want to get my Sox/Halos tix ordered soon so I don't have to worry about getting them later. Any input is appreciated. Oh ya, last year went to like 25 games. Umm, pretty much any seat is a good one as long as your near the field. Upper deck isn't too steap and if you sit somewhere between the bases your set. If your in the outfield, its difficult to see all parts of the field. The family zone is good if you want to go cheaper. Terrace and Field are both really nice though.
-
Oops meant to say he gave up a 1 in 2 innings.
-
At Anaheim Stadium it is real easy, the ushers walk down the aisles and give them to you, otherwise you can find them in holders all around the stadium.

Stewart and Rauch are the two they are looking at. I don't think Heredia has much of a chance but who knows. They expected to already know whether he would be sticking around. I'd also count Matt Ginter as a possible starter if things get out of hand. Hopefully we won't have to worry about these things. Oh ya, I'll mention Felix Diaz as well. The one thing I like is that the Sox aren't going to have to rush many prospects anymore, which means the pitchers and hitters can take their time in the minors, making adjustments, etc.

I think the Sox lost 4-2. Koch gave up his first run of the spring in the ninth, although he didnt pitch bad. I think Loiaza start and gave up 3 runs in the first. Danny Wright through 2 innings and gave up a hit. Most people seem to be having trouble with real so who knows. Tomorrow I'll try updating everyone on most of the game since I won't be at work or busy with school stuff (At least i hope I won't)
-
I couldn't find it either Steff. They must of removed it.
-
Ya, the Sox haven't been involved in any trade rumors that I know of. The only thing semi mentioned was the fact that a few teams (Namely the Orioles) would be interested in Carlos Lee. I'd say it looks pretty safe that the Sox won't be making any moves, unless they are acquiring a backup catcher of some sort. They seem to have depth in almost every area and don't have much reason for concern other then to hope this team finally plays to its potential.

This stuff is still taped. I really believe that Saddam is dead. If he was alive he'd likely come out and make concrete statements so people wouldn't question whether he is alive or not. I guess if he wants to hide, then he should act like he's dead.

no,. not related - just everyone who knows me personally knows what a fan I am and "that's my man" is a phrase I use a lot - and the one thing we have in common in the three generations of my family is Eminem - my Marine son is a huge fan and I know he'll be happy, his son my grandson is a huge fan because I am and his step father is a huge fan too - the one thing we all agree on and I know my Marine is going to smile when he hears the news about the Oscar win and he needs a smile right now - I could have posted that more cogently I guess but I was just excited - I swear CW, your family is one of a kind of it must be. I'm not poking fun or anything, ya know I think your AWESOME. I just know when I'm in your area, I expect your entire family to start just rapping

Those were some pretty funny quotes.

Murcie pretty much summed up my feelings. I don't see any battle. Mario, Me, Mark and everyone else that helps out enjoy what were doing and we love giving all you awesome people info. I think its great that the Sox have two awesome sites devoted to eachother. Why there has to be a battle and such, who knows. All I know, and speaking for the staff of SoxNet, we aren't in a "battle" with WSI; We do our thing, they do theirs and our only goals are to continue making this site better and better for all our members/readers.

Butler is the team thats really impressing me. They came back from a big time defecit and were getting hammered. They showed resiliency and that they can run with some of the best.
-
I agree with Dibbler on his ideas, but it all comes down to Wright. If he isn't healthy then I see no point in rushing him and believe that Stewart can handle himself. I do think Stewart would benefit from more time and think that he could surprise people and enter our rotation eventually. This guy has really turned it on since last year and if he continues to grow, then he's got a good future, even if scouts don't drool over him.

If we could do it legally we probably would find a way. But there is always SnR a couple times a week.

Ya, sometimes you never know what a thread turns into, lol. I see it as a good thing cause it shows that so many people here like to discuss other things and typically get along.
