It was $50 at EB but I had a gift card for 10 so i wound paying about 42 with tax. This game seems pretty hard to me, even on rook. The pitch really comes in fast too, you have to develop an eye for recognize the pitch, and where it's going. That's what makes it tough. I have won a lot of 3-2, 2-1, 5-3 type games. I'm about 20 games into a franchise and it's still great. There's so many details from hot/cold zones, to hitting charts and pitch counts, warming up the bullpen, putting in righties against left handed pitchers, etc it makes it very realistic. Hows the franchise mode? Can you hire coaches, draft minor leaguers, multiplayer/uneven trades, etc.?

No, this came up this year in terms of what was going on last year at the beginning of the season, so it would of been them and the Expos getting contracted and not them and the Twins.

what????? I never heard those rumors - that stuff was really said? are their situations that perilous? The Angels have a new stadium, but Disney doesn't want to own so they figured that would be a good situation. The A's are in terrible situation. They have a crappy stadium, no fan base and have been winning the past couple years and it hasn't done anything. The Angels have a real good fan baes now and even before theres was pretty good and they have a nice facility. The only thing was the ownership didn't want to own and it still doesn't, but they are paying the money to keep the team intact. Oaklands ownership would then go down to Anaheim where there is a fan base, a nice stadium, and they would of been willing to spend money. It came out about a week ago. THey were talking about it all over the place on sportstalk this week.

I think Oakland is one of those teams that will get contracted at the end of the labor agreement if they can't get a new stadium. The Twins are in the same boat, imo. Also, reports came out that last year the Angels were very closed to being contracted and then the A's would of moved to Anaheim.

Well, I wouldn't expect them to get any baseball. It is the same storm that was where I was yesterday and we got 4 inches of rain (According to my dad who put out some thing before the raining start). It was pouring all day yesterday and I'm assuming it will do the same in Arizona.

What game is this for? I know when I played ASB last year I'd win like every game. My staff at an era of about 1.50 and my offense had everyone hitting .400 or more. I didn't even try to do it either.

If they had traded Gibbons to Colorado for Cust....their GM should be shot. He would have been shot already. Their GM is alive....because Gibbons is still in Baltimore. It was Richard for Cust. Trading a stud in Gibbons for a guy who didn't hit in Colorado of all places would have been a huge mistake. gibbons is my fantasy lerague 1st baseman..tell me it was him that got sent to colorado Lol, but Helton would be playing over him. Be glad it was Richards. I've always liked Jack Cust.

He threw today and Manuel said that he is doing a lot better. Thats definately some good news. They are talking that he needs to get in a 5 inning outing or I think thats what they said. Also talked about Loiaza and there is a real good shot that Esteban will be the 5th, but JM kept saying good things about Wright.

I always thought Mark would come through last year. I would of been as happy as can be if he hit .250 cause he drew a lot of walks, could bunt, and called a good game.

2 months in the minors will not change him from the next rob deer if thats his destiny to the next mickey mantle...with his talent if he is not ready now he never will be Disagree. He hasn't played baseball full time since he was drafted. That takes some adjustments. The guy will be alright. I almost think he'll be in Charlotte all season and then next year will be his time. He didn't look ready when I saw him. I just hope he could find a way to get ready now, cause we could really use that left handed bat (most of the time thats the side he'll swing from)

He was guaranteed being the opening day starter. They don't think the Bears will draft a qb with the 4th pick in the draft, but if they want to they can.

But, versatilty doesn't mean everything, look at Josh Paul. I don't think Paul is as bad as some here, but if you can't do a couple things well, then with the amount of good players fighting for jobs, your going to have a tough time getting on the 25 man. The only reason Harris is there is because he's the only guy that can backup in center. If Rios could do it on ocassions, then the Sox would just stick with that and then carry Miles.

The problem with Vegas is look how good the bowl games do there. They get like 10,000 people. The population there is definately growing and the houses out there outside of the city are pretty damn nice, but still, I don't know if they have the group that would support a major league baseball stadium.
