  1. I see someone tight with Shuemaker tonight. Let’s see what I can figure out. Remember wait until the hot dog tweets - better yet the chili dog. Chili dog is never wrong.
  2. I don't like this - the overall concept of load management is totally fine. That said - if he has soreness that concerns me, especially after not having a game in over a week.
  3. The hamburglar told me the Sox are going to hire there manager by the end of this month. Some will be happy and some won’t.
  4. Personally I'm waiting for chili dog to say it. If it comes from the chili himself - I know it is true.
  5. I am curious what happens with Robert in LA.
  6. These playoffs have been awesome. Alright dodgers - send it to extra innings.
  7. Yeah - do that and than spend money on Correa or someone else. That would be a huge move all around (and this is coming from a TA7 fan).
  8. Espada is good, Bochy is fine, curious to see who else we look at but so far I can’t complain.
  9. I was ripping fields the first few weeks. He was awful - don’t care others were bad. But last week he was best player on field despite limitations. This week he had some special plays and I saw him keep battling back. His pick was a batted ball. The line - Patrick and Mustipher were destroyed - he had nowhere to go on a number of those sacks. And he still threw what should have been a game winner. He has to keep grinding but this oline and wideouts have to be better. They need white hair and they need to start making some changes on the interior.
  10. And Mooney dropped a game winner there.
  11. I did not think Fields was as bad as you all did. He was pretty good last week and still solid this week. The oline was awful but he still is making progress but yes I expected more.
  12. Isn’t it challengeable. Wtf.
  13. Ok - you are confirming it. Last time they interviewed Willie and than hired TLR (no other interviews - including Hinch?). This is already a step better - presuming they go through with the interviews.
  14. This is nice. Technically last hiring cycle did they interview Hinch (I don't remember)?
  15. That was all a play by the White Sox front office to keep people off the scent.
  16. Dj Moore is intriguing.
  17. Fields much better today. Two weeks of real progress. Let’s see a third week of improvement against Washington!
  18. That is my point - my understanding is the Sox rank very low in both depth and financial pay of there scouts, front office, analytics and development people. So they have basically poured every dollar into major league talent vs. allocating more to the minor leagues, development and scouting. The reality is - putting more money at the lower levels - enables you to run at the higher level with a lower payroll and they have to take a better, long-term view for how they balance. This is not to say the Sox don't pay a fair wage to there scouts - my understanding is they just have far fewer people and similarly in the higher level front office roles, they basically have an echo chamber of limited minds vs. a deep, integrated, highly open front office that will drive collaborative discussions and challenge.
  19. I am convinced they will trade White for someone who can give them insurance for Lonzo. It was preseason so I hope this bites me - but Dragic looked toast. On the other hand - Terry was way more athletic / quick than I expected.
  20. Preseason and bulls overall were sloppy. I see why I have read nothing about White - cause he looks like the exact same player he was since his rookie year. The opposite of that was Williams. I read about his workouts and he looked much different. Last year he looked slow before going down - he looked much quicker this year.
  21. Let the bulls surprise us in a good way!
  22. Petis, St Brown - look at there career numbers entering the year. Wow - they are legit nobodies yet being asked to be #2/#3's at this point. That is U G L Y
  23. The Sox goal should be to have a top 5 scout, minor league coaching, analytic, and development staff in terms of comp. I don't care if there payroll is 15th in baseball - I want an org that manages its baseball people and strength and development and pays them and builds a unit with depth, expertise and specialization where appropriate. That should be the focus - if that means they cheap out $20M on payroll to fund it - so be it.
  24. I don't know if it was last years hamstring injuries or what - but his defense fell off a cliff. Than again - so did Robert's. Makes you wonder.
  25. The National narrative is the opposite - the national narrative is the Bears have given Fields nothing and all of the issues go beyond Fields and he basically has zero chance. The truth is somewhere in between. Games 1-3 - it was a lot on Fields; Game 4 - I'd say Fields was better (still wouldn't say good) - but a lot of parts around him were just a disaster.
