I really can't believe it will happen. But don't get me wrong - I understand why everyone is just assuming the worst and that he will be given the choice to be back. Nothing surprises me with how this organization is running themselves and how archaic they have become.

It is the one thing that gives me hope for next year - most are due to bounce back - but the issues can't be ignored cause they are real. For example - Grandal is clearly done or a much more part time player given his knee. And the defense clearly sucks and that isnt' on Vaughn/Sheets - that is on the GM for handing the mgr such a flawed defensive roster.

Truer words have never been spoken. Hahn has ignored defense throughout the rebuild. It was fine when it was early on - but overtime it became completely inexcusable and was really just a sign from someone who really couldn't put together the right top to bottom roster. Yes - some of these guys have talent - but you also have to optimize the entire roster and build out a complete roster - they never did it. Rick never did it. He consistently prioritized other things for reasons I won't pretend to know or just spend assinine amounts of cumulative money on role players when it could have went to difference makers.

I am sure in an alternate dimension - many of our posters are swearing at Sheets for swinging 3-0 and getting out while in some other much happier universe, some of us are high fiving each other for that 2 run bomb he hit.

What is ReyLo's contract situation next year? He really has become a very good reliever (regardless of what happens here).

They are just saving the heroics for the top of the 9th.

This - exactly this. I think he has to take a softer approach post-game, but his in-game reaction is probably more a view of the true reality (but that is my guess).

I think he's just trying to be careful at what he says / doesn't say.

Are you talking about the right side that shows up on the front page (when on desktop or tablet) that shows like the twitter feed and Sox score? Or do you see a side panel in desktop on all pages (like in the forums, etc)? Want to make sure - in case you are seeing something I don't.

There is still some optimizing of database going on in the back ground (reindexing). In next day it should be done and make things even tighter.

One other ask to come though - in future versions of invision logins will default to email addresses (vs username) so I will put a seperate message on that in a few weeks for people to make sure they have that info so no one gets inadvertently locked out in future. That change is being done as a security measure.

I haven’t added them. The dark one I have isn’t that nice so we need to do some work first. Than we will basically have the standard lite theme - which is more default and one dark theme for those that have that preference. I forgot I have a bunch as an admin from when we played around with various versions before honing in on the version used on the forums. If people ever see anything on another invision forum they like though - screenshot it here and we can see what we can do. No promises but we try.

Maybe I have some private ones - I’ll post again when I turn it on. Wont be until tomorrow.
