This would be devastating if they came back. And they just might.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 27, 2011 -> 10:40 PM) Sox may open on the season on the road in 2012 against the CHAMPS! I would really like to be at that game. Hmmm, I might have to call in a favor. Oh wait, it's our fiscal year end. I can't even think about it.

VIAGRE! WOOT! ME ERITCLE! God, I hate these damn commercials. /Bottom of 9...

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 26, 2011 -> 07:02 AM) Perry is making Bush look like an eloquent intellectual. You're drunker then s*** if you play "Texas" as the drinking word for Perry speak. I agree. I cannot stand Rick Perry. Gee, that shouldn't be obvious or anything by now.
-
THE Revvvverand Wright would scold Perry. Something about plundering chickens, but maybe I have my sermons confused. So, the bigger point is, most people don't like Texas. And all Rick Perry can talk about is Texas. Until he learns that the country is bigger then Texas (wow!) he's going nowhere.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 25, 2011 -> 09:56 PM) But you're coming in with really dumb slogans while at the same time decrying the use of really dumb slogans so.... Like I said...

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 10:24 PM) I really hope people keep fighting the go fight. If people could just put themselves in the shoes of those in AIG financial, who worked so hard and had to deal with the guilt of ruining the worlds economy and make millions, and then be called assholes because of it. It really hurts to be called an asshole. Its the equivalent of warfare. And they won't let these jobless hippies ruin this country, that's their job! Oh, don't we know it. I mean, $500,000 in taxes isn't enough for someone with an AGI of $1,000,000. Just $500 more! Only $500 more... we could SAVE 400,000 jobs? Excuse me while I wipe my ass with that bulls***.
-
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 10:19 PM) Yeah I'm the number one obama supporter on this board. Good back pedal though Back pedal my ass. He's the one saying this crap. He did it again today - him and the class warfare. It's his entire campaign.
-
Awww, how precious. So Barackus the Great gets to profit off of tax payer money on book royalties? What a f***tard.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 25, 2011 -> 07:19 PM) So today, Mittens made an appearance at a rally in Ohio in favor of ohios union busting law, which is on the ballot soon. Mittens has endorsed that law in the past. He was asked about that law at the rally for the law he was attending today...and responded without comment, saying he didn't know enough about the issue. That he'd commented on before. That he was at a rally for. He's so precious. Ain't he though? That's why he's a pile of s***. QUOTE (Tex @ Oct 25, 2011 -> 08:43 PM) Other times in his career, but this is a guy that has never lost a race, the longest serving governor in Texas history. He flat out knows how to win and has assembling a heck of a campaign team. Texas ain't "U S of KKK A", dude. Nor is "U S of KKK A" in Rick Perry's world, either.

And that is clearly beyond a limited government's role. And that is clearly what's f***ed up about our country now. Again, that's not supposed to be the government's main role. Now, that is all the functions that socialists want. Wear the label proudly, because if this is what you support as a main role for our government, then you're a socialist.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 10:16 PM) The link infantry posted.i would not have known otherwise. Over 12b combined. I'll need to go back and re-read it, but that's only marginally the aid sent out... so that's a majority? I think I'm missing something. (yes, being serious... )
-
Hey, I'm not the one spouting this crap other then to simply repeat it, your president is. Comrade!
-
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 10:09 PM) Afghanistan and iraq receive an overwhelming amount of that aid. Seriously not being a smart ass but I'm not sure that's true. Do you have something on that one?
-
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 10:05 PM) Yes rly, unless I've mistaken you for another poster but I'm infallible so I know that didn't happen. No, I didn't support operation get rid of another old dictator because I want a Islamofacist-regime-in-its-place so called war. But, I understand that the moral justifying country we are, we had to. And no, I'm not contradicting myself on hating the American economy... you all are the ones who think banks and wall street are our evil enemies. Keep buying the regime kool-aid class warfare.
-
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 09:57 PM) Ironic given your opposition to a populist uprising that overthrew a decades long dictatoship Oh R'ly?
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 09:41 PM) And yeah...I want to give government control over everything. Another of those pointless sound bytes you complain about when others say them from the other side but are totally ok from you since you know the undebatable truth. And we all know that Wall Street and capitalism is the fundamental problem with this country. Go Karl.
-
Clearly, it's all Bush's fault. Everything is. Even according to our current 3 years in office president.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 09:15 PM) Basically, people applied for "trial modifications". Once they did that, they were told to make lesser payments. But if the modification wasn't approved, and only a handful were...then anyone who followed the instructions wound up in foreclosure. If you applied to the hamp program and did everything you were told to do, you wound up with like a 90% chance of being foreclosed upon, even if you were fully current when you applied. As epic of a clusterf*** as you can imagine. So why do you continue to support this asshole of a president who thinks he can just executive order everything to his whimsical wishes?
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 09:11 PM) And there we go...everything that disagrees with you is horrible and needs to be banned because its sickening...but your talking points are great and how dare everyone not agree! You know why? Because you are so flippant to just give the government everything it wants in order make your decisions for you. I'd rather error on the side of making my own choices and living with the consequences then to have a bailout of every move I make. You know, for the sake of the little guy. Oh the hypocrasy.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 09:03 PM) Just to note...the amount this country spends on foreign aid is less than the amount we spend in a couple weeks in Afghanistan. The Iraq war could pay the non-war foreign aid budget for something like 150-200 years. Just to clarify, my above "jobs" statement doesn't include the wars.
-
I think because people sat and waited on refinancing under the guise that they were taken care of?
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 08:59 PM) if it were Greece alone, the problems would be easy enough. The big problems are because it was French and German banks that gave them all that money and jut like here, those firms can't lose money...and those same firms have much larger exposures to Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Yea, true... so what do we do? Forgive it all, say cheer-i-o and move on? Seriously, what do these governments do? Raise taxes? That'll work. Lower them? Well, that would depend on how you do it (as I started alluding to before Wall Street suckage started).
-
Well... let's just say that this foreign aid keeps a few million (yes, million) workers employed in this country. So, let's cut it all off, and redistribute that wealth through the government, because that would be the appropriate thing to do, right?
-
Well, duh, the government did make them. At least get your facts right.
