  1. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 02:50 PM) I'd bet someone is getting frustrated with a lack of resources under new ownership. Ding.
  2. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 05:08 PM) A lot saw this coming, but it's news none the less. http://blackhawks.nhl.com/team/app?article...mp;service=page Pully Out. but he's not. . . at least not how I read it.
  3. QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 07:52 PM) This is totally true. Reagan was a good President, but the left wants to trash him every chance they get and the right wants to put him on Mt. Rushmore. Agreed.
  4. QUOTE(Soxy @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 06:56 PM) I found out that at my second job (at JoAnn Fabrics) we are allowed to wear our costumes to work. So I am actually going to dress up this week. I am going to be a dark fairy. I've got the purple wings and I'm making a black, purple and gold tutu. Should be fun. Soxy in a black, purple and gold tutu...
  5. QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 03:44 PM) Well it WAS in the article he linked to. Maybe he was just being lazy like the MSM and threw it out there as 'convicts', because that's how the headline slants the story. No, that's why I specifically said what I did. But my bigger point was, what NSS did unintentionally the MSM will do with intent. It *IS* an issue, though.
  6. QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 03:37 PM) Why not add what the 'convictions' were for? I'm not accusing NSS of this particularly, but it wouldn't fit the bad story, duh.
  7. Well, from what I can infer (OPINOIN ALERT - NOT FACT), PK is the "captain" and can't stand any personalities that overshadow his. Frankly, if that's the case, if there are any big names coming this way, PK is going to have to go. It sounds weird, but if that's the case, a change up is needed.
  8. MEME MEME. I'm kidding.

    WTF

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 10:45 PM) Oh, sorry, that was in the other thread. Some blogger said the kid should be hung in public. I missed that part. That is so insane. That's what gives "conservatives" a bad name.
  10. I think Boston is going to have to beat the Angels for this to even have ANY merit. Oh wait... I dunno what to think. PK has the no-trade clause, right?

    WTF

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 10:39 PM) Shouldn't the "first of all" be, WTF kind of people decide its acceptable to threaten a kid's life, to make their point? I seriously would like to see the authorities find the poster who threatened the kid with hanging, and prosecute him/her for assault on a child. I am pretty sure that a threat to hang qualifies. That's not in this article. I hadn't seen that. People are idiots.
  12. And it's already settled. No link yet, just saw a breaking news thingy.
  13. That's an improvement over Joey Cora.

    WTF

This is pure bulls***, on both sides. First of all, the sentance in his speech about "I just want people to get taken care of like I was under the program" - what crap. Listen, a kid in his exact same situation WOULD BE UNDER THE NEW BILL. Second of all, the expansion of the program is nuts as it is currently written, but then the Dems get to play "Bush is a peckerhead who hates kids". Third of all, the wacko right wing nutball screwtards need to STFU, but it's too late for that. The point remains: yea, these people have money, and yes, they chose to tie it up in non-monetary assets in leiu of getting insurance for their families - which is what made them eligible for SCHIP in the first place. Fine, people do it all the time - but remember, it's a choice. The kid got his care, and that's good, but the politics on both sides trying to smear each other is pure horses***. /waits for the incredible defense of all things Democrat BTW, this is discussed in the Dem only thread, but it's probably a good one to split off anyway.
  15. QUOTE(29andPoplar @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 08:16 PM) A perfect example of what the White Sox guy said. No kidding. I love rubbish.
  16. NSS, Ford UAW was saying that they MIGHT strike in support of GM UAW, but I don't think they actually did it???
  17. Nice. It's probably people looking for Red Sawks crap.
  18. What did they have to gain by leaking it?
  19. QUOTE(mreye @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 02:15 PM) I saw the van go by on Congress in late June / early July. I was hoping to see myslef, but don't. There's a couple blogs out there that post funny things found by the Google Street View - a couple making out in a park, a half naked guy walking down the street, reflections of the van they use, etc. Do you have a link? That's funny.
  20. That's a good commentary actually. But, they still made some choices that could have made some things different. NSS, I agree with your comment about the law as written is still suspect, but I don't have an issue with the idea behind the law as long as it really benefits who it's supposed to.
  21. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 04:18 PM) Geez, $43 an hour would be amazing.
  22. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 03:31 PM) Ya, it should be up tonight. Mario was just joking around about it being 2 weeks (It would be two weeks if they were relying on me). Tuesday @ 9 Central Time is going to be the time slot for the show. Good deal. I only caught that last sentance, so I didn't know how it was said.
  23. Nice pair of balls that Democratic leadership has. I got news for you. I still bet that if they win the White House AND Congress, they won't leave Iraq.
  24. They said it might take a bit to get it out there this time, if I heard right. I logged in for the last two sentances.
  25. DAMN I missed it, you bull s***ter (LOL) last sentance was good. You need sensitivity training.
