  1. He's scheduled to start Wednesday night.
  2. Saw an article a little while ago that said he's slated to go Tuesday @ KC.
  3. I know.!!! It's all good. I think that was definitely a turning point in the season.
  4. Edited title. You made a great point - just didn't want to leave that out there.

    My dad

    Prayers your way, man.
  6. Garcia gets the W tomorrow, book it. Then the Royals will awaken the sleeping bats... And then we scratch and claw back into the race. I won't say they'll win it, but they will start fighting back... again, these guys are pressing too hard. They need to just go play some baseball and get the monkey off the back.
  7. hey dude, why ain't you in D-Town? I figured you'd be there?
  8. Us getting Contreas. I have a feeling he's gonna blossom into a good 2 or 3 hole starter, and we desparately needed that. Glossed over in all this, is DAMN I was hoping we'd get a bat in all of this, we need it.
  9. Wow, I feel like this is the 2000 election results. Nooo, wait, trade is on, noooooo wait, trade is off, nooooo wait, it's back on again.
  10. The Twins getting Derek Lowe is a little discomforting.
  11. Derek Lowe to the Twins? whoa, they got their pitcher anyway. Boy... I don't know if Boston can make up the ground or not, but I like this trade for them... The Cubs needed Nomar in place of Gonzales, good trade for them, even if a rental player... same thing as BOS though, but even worse in that I think they are too far out of it... but this makes them pretty dangerous for the wild card.
  12. I agree, and I also think to add to this, E-lo's little comment earlier to the media about thinking he's worth Garcia money had to do with this too. C-ya, Elo... your ego got to you. Now you're going to New York where they won't tolerate that s***.
  13. Whoa! Actually, I sort of like this... I know many of you won't.
  14. Jason, just looked at espn's front page and it says that Johnson ain't going anywhere now.
  15. At least your dog listens, right?
  16. Oh My God. The f***ing sky is caving in... the team must be f***ing perfect or I flush the toilet over their head. Yes, I said they are pressing too hard. Have you ever tried so hard at something that you were comfortable with that you screwed up, and the harder you tried the worse it got? Oh, nevermind, you don't have to press on anything, because you're perfect. And it's even in green, just for you...
  17. It's been a roller coaster month, let's just close it out with a win, and move on. One thing that someone else said really hits home. They need to RELAX and go play. Seems like the silly mistakes is from pressing too hard. Go play, have fun, and let the chips fall where they may. They clearly are not having fun, and I think that's the problem more then anything else.
  18. wow... I'm not trying to be above anyone else... but this is a really good question... I've met so many people that are playing in the major league sports, I can't even list them all. Some of these I continue to work with today. Met a LOT of music groups by either being a stage hand or backstage passes. I've been very fortunate in this regard... I wish though that I could meet some political people - so I can ask why government is the way it is straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.
  19. OMG!!!!!!!! He's the 'cmon 'cmon 'cmon dude that you could kick his ass...
  20. SPOT THE FLIP FLOP "I'm a war president. I make decisions here in the Oval Office in foreign policy matters with war on my mind." - George W. Bush, NBC's Meet the Press interview with Tim Russert, February 8, 2004 "The enemy declared war on us, and you just got to know nobody wants to be the war President. I want to be the peace President." --- George W. Bush, Cedar Rapids Iowa, July 20, 2004
