Point well taken, but with Thomas out of the lineup, we really have no 'ideal' number three hitter. And - Frank's average is lower than Konerko's because pitchers don't really give Thomas anything good to hit, thus the higher OBP. Also - Konerko really hasn't hit too well in NL parks IIRC. But anyways - go Sox and let's get a win tonight.

No - you didn't just say 'Green Goblin will be the next villain.' You went on about a whole scene, which, IMO, is pretty vital to the movie and to the next movie. Anyways - Getting back to who the next villain for Spiderman 3 is going to be, if they are, in fact, following the same series as the comic books (I found this out from my friend who knows a lot more about the whole series than I do), then the next villain should be the Electric guy. I forgot his name and stuff, but if you went on the Spiderman ride at Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios, or just plain know the Spiderman series, you'll know who I'm talking about.

Well, presuming all goes according to our plans (knock on wood), we will probably have to face the winner of the AL West in the ALDS. Probably because the Yanks will have the best record meaning they get to face the Wild Card. It should be an interesting stretch run to say the least.

Konerko needs to step it up, along with C-Lee, and all of our bats in the middle of the order. I'm guessing the lineup will be something like Uribe, Rowand, Lee, Konerko, Valentin, Crede, Perez/Gload, Alomar, Buerhle?

I also heard that Thomas is going to be on the bench for the third game in a row. I have no idea why... But getting back to topic, we need a W from Buerhle tonight.
