  1. Hawk knocks out Moronotti with one pitch, and then yells ' YOU GONE!'
  2. And we got Garcia, who gave us a winner Thursday night. Would you quit crying about the trade? If you love who we gave up, start rooting for Seattle... It's good to see Borchard walking some more. 0-2 with 2BBs is nice to see. Best of luck to Anderson at Birmingham (sp?).
  3. Umm.... No? He couldn't do good on a team like Colorado, what makes you think he'll do good here? Go get Glen Murray.
  4. No - but tommorow he'll come up with a post saying that he made a stupid post, and say that he made a knee-jerk reaction and is stupid. Just like the post saying Reed is overrated. Just like the post saying the Sox will be in fourth place after the Cubbie series. Just like the post saying Kenny is a moron. :headshake
  5. Either way: he better drop that attitude real quick, because if we have only one fourth starter in the playoffs, IMO, it's Garland. Drop the attitude or just pitch your ass off, and he'll be alright.
  6. That's a dead link, mmmmmmmm... Here's the deal - if you don't suck, you'll stay in the rotation. If you suck, you'll go to the bullpen. I don't see what's wrong in that, but if Schoeney does, I think Montreal is in need of another starter.
  7. Way to show some life today Jonny-boy! SWEEEP! f*** YEAH!
  8. All I can tell you about Olivo is..... he's a crazy man!
  9. Wow - Gold - that is excellent! ....Now one question. How do I get that into my sig again, I forgot....
  10. OK - we all like Adkins, but you're not getting the point. You don't take a chance in Minny. It's your divisional foe, you go with your closer, your most sure thing you got. Don't toy with the devil.
  11. Not trying to be a sexist here, but isn't the PA Announcer in SF a lady?
  12. Ouch ouch ouch! Just thinking of that makes me cringe...
  13. I know a lot of people here don't care what goes on through the national media perspective. but - You know Sportscenter's beginning thingy? It was sweet, they mentioned our Sox. Something like, 'Maybe these Sox (shows picture of Garcia and a SOX logo) are the real Sox.'
  14. Nice job Freddy! I bet after the game, Freddy was probably thinking, "Sweet, I can give up five runs and still get the W!"
  15. We've also had some really, really poor outings (sans yesterday) out of Buerhle/Loaiza lately, that wasn't really normal. Overall, I think our Top 3 ERA will improve to right around four, give or take a couple of points. And I'd be happy if it could stay around four, too.
  16. What I find funny is, a month ago, a couple certain people (I don't remember quite who) were ripping Kenny for trading Ginter for Perez. Where the hell are you people now? Since then, Ginter's ERA has gone up to 4.53 with a WHIP of 1.40. Anyways - way to go Timo!
  17. Haha - I heard that too! Swung on and belted deep left field! Biggio on the edge of the outfield grass DROPS THE BALL! Biggio = :fyou .
  18. Ill be happy with five or six innings of four runs or less. Well - I won't be happy with four runs, but if he can keep us in the game, I'll be a happy man.
  19. I agree fully baggio. I like KW a lot, but looking at it, how many playoffs has he been to? Zero. When/if we make it to the playoffs, I will call KW one of the better GMs. If we make it to the ALCS/WS, I will call him one of the best in the game. But not until then.
  20. Props to Buerhle! Way to bounce back buddy! .....And tommorow. Freddy takes the hill. f*** YEAH!

Sweet - thanks a lot guys! License in a week or so!
  22. No - the problem with Manuel was, not beating the bad teams. We beat the Yankees last year. We could handle all of the 'playoff' caliber teams. It was those pesky Tigers who kicked our ass last year - why we didn't make the playoffs.
  23. Still no - Borchard is our Jeremy Reed now. Borchard must come through, on this White Sox team. Kendall and Meadows for Rauch and a lower level prospect, and they take on more than half of Kendall's remaining contract. We don't want to take on such a contract like that, so you pay it and give us a little throw in in return for taking the contract off of your hands.
  24. I totally agree. We don't need Kendall, but he'd be an improvement, because he's able to get on base at a damn good rate, and he calls a good game behind the plate. It isn't a pressing need - but if Pitt is willing to take on more than half of the contract, without giving up anyone from the current roster/major prospects (someone like Rauch, IMO, should go in a deal like this), then I'd be really happy.
