I really think they looked at the gear Rodon was having as well as the other starters and figured they would never come close to this again so they went for it- So much for having that long window of opportunity that Hahn talked about

The pattern is- win the first game of a series and then lose the next two…just like the playoff series from last year

Hopefully we’ll get hot in August and we can ride it through September hopefully will get hot in September and ride it through the playoffs hopefully will get hot in the last week of September and ride that into the playoffs hopefully will learn by going three and out in the playoffs but we need a better roster for next season

Yes I think you can fault the trade because you can’t just take a relief pitcher from a non-contending team and expect he’s gonna perform the same on a team in a pennant race and in another league. And frankly I continue to be annoyed when players go from the White Sox to other organizations and excel. it just shows how poor our player development is.
