  1. Like I said, he got caught in the moment…or Rick went out and got a sandwich and Kenny picked up the phone. Truthfully I think that the powers that be looked at the incredible year Rodan was having as well as ‘Lynn and thought that maybe within this ‘window’ this is the best chance that we have to win the World Series and went for it.
  2. He got caught up in the moment and made a meatball trade- something his predecessor did from time to time. You would think that he would have learned from the Tatis, Simeon, Montas and Bassitt deals. Just incredibly stupid. He loses my vote (if I had one) for exec of the year.
  3. Don’t be stupid- No Trey Turner’s not coming here but you can you do a hell of a lot better than the garbage that they have sitting on the benchNo Trey Turner’s not coming here but you can you do a hell of a lot better than the garbage that they have sitting on the bench
  4. I also wonder if Kopech’s lack of use has contributed to his recent ineffectiveness
  5. This team needs to spend some serious dough in the off-season to shore up their bench depth- it’s abysmal
  6. That’s a great point… I’m wondering what kind of deal he will get?
  7. You may as well get the 108 guys to do the game…Stacy is bored- the whole thing was a Bulls promo
  8. A lot of this is true… I think what frustrates Sox fans is that Dylan seems to struggle every game. And always seems to be out after the fifth inning with 100 pitches. I think part of his problem is that he has trouble pitching out of a stretch -as soon as he gets guys on base he has trouble. All that said he still is young and has tremendous upside. I just hope he realizes that upside in a white Sox uniform. A lot of these guys take a lot longer to figure things out
  9. It is. This feels a lot like 2000.
  10. And a seat at the table!
  11. Finally the ump got it right
  12. Except for our pitcher
  13. I’m seeing a lot fewer wins from Detroit and KC in the future
  14. I’m not expecting much from Robert either when he returns- it’s going to take a while for both
  15. This team has been off for a while...
  16. Can Seby be yaz like and walk a lot but not necessarily hit?
  17. Not wanting to turn this into - a Madrigal thread but when I think of nick I think of two other players Lopez of the royals and Nico Horner of the Cubs-all they think about the drafted far after That’s our Dylan!
  18. Who is a better player Nick madrigal or Niki Lopez?
  19. DFA when Robert comes back
  20. He is half of the Jose Quintana - get even- Trojan horse from the Cubs- watch Craig Kimbrel implode to be the other half
  21. I’m not sure Zach can hit
  22. Is it meatballish to want seby over Zach for back up catcher when Yaz returns?
  23. TLR gets a little too cute with the lineups at times- with guys coming back I hope we don’t see a repeat of the lineup disaster merry go round that we saw in April
  24. We have about an 18 man roster at this point
