    Pet peeves....

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Nov 7, 2007 -> 06:25 PM) Ugh, dealing with that one right now. It sucks so much. Ditto. Considering also this isn't just any other friend for me. This dude is probably my best friend (like a brother to me) It's a damn shame he's basically spoiling her. Basically a "money" relationship and she treats him like utter crap. It's crazy to think what a bangin body (in her case a huge ass) could do to a man's head sometimes.
  2. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Nov 7, 2007 -> 07:05 PM) I can't decide whether to go with a comment about Kobayashi being a competitive eater and a reliever, or go with a comment about us even going after 3rd rate Japanese talent as well. I must say I was thinking that myself or some others as well.
  3. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 6, 2007 -> 09:01 PM) Larry Johnson maybe out for the year with a broken bone in his foot. Yikes. I called it. I'll never forget the replay when A.J. Hawk rolled over his foot/ankle. Man it looked bad. Like I said, I would have been in utter shock if he just suffered a sprain.

Old people driving really annoys me (not to mention women drivers.. ) I know I'm gonna get hell for that one..
  5. Jesus that's a sick line by AP. I missed the Pats-Colts game and saw NE won even though the Colts were up last time I checked. And I saw the GB-KC game and I'd be utterly shocked if LJ's injury was actually a "sprain" come an MRI. That had broken ankle/torn ligament written all over it. It was nasty but who knows. Maybe he'll get lucky. And Andrew, looks like Romo is showing why he was worth the $$$. Alot of interesting things happened this week in football (MJD, nicely done/poor Chad Johnson etc..)
  6. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 2, 2007 -> 10:15 PM) Bears and Bulls, both turning the ball over with regularity! Tyrus had a great game though. That's one thing I can take away from it though. Mah boy Tyrus being the stud he usually is gettin it done. Of course I'm probably the biggest Tyrus Thomas fan on this board.
  7. The Bulls are now 0-2 and Kobe is looking damn good for LA right now. It's a damn shame our own home team is chanting for Kobe considering our poor effort and Ben Gordon creating turnover after turnover every game.
  8. Oh and if anyone is interested, the next young superstar is making his debut tonight on ESPN. Mr. Durant.
  9. Bulls should have won this game but it looks like we will start off 0-1 (same with the Lakers)
  10. Holy s***. What a game between the Bulls and Nets. Bulls comming back. We got the last shot.
  11. I'm down for the white women lover. The only thing I hope we do is trade Noah instead of Thomas (considering he's a future stud and all) but if thats what it takes to get it done, it'll be good times in the Chi.
  12. QUOTE(BearSox @ Oct 29, 2007 -> 11:13 PM) I kinda hope so, because that make Furcal a whole lot more available and probably easier to get as long as we take on the whole contract I am utterly shocked you of all people did not mention Hu considering your man crush.
  13. I'd rather see Owens at the minimum throw with his noodle arm (more range defensively) than Damon allowing more runs to score than usual.
  14. I've never had Chicken Pox. I'm one of the biggest smokers and damn near all my friends seen this movie and I've seen probably 10-20 minutes of it, but I've never seen both parts of Cheech n Chong. (Also I know the real facts of that movie but still wanna see it someday)
  15. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Oct 23, 2007 -> 11:07 PM) Beckett or Lester; those are pretty much their only options. If Francona wants this, we'll see Beckett pitch in Game 1, 4 and possibly 7 if it goes that far.
  16. Rockies. And it isn't even remotely close.
  17. I'm gonna pray for the Rockies here. I was obviously wrong about the Cleveland prediction, but hopefully Colorado won't be affected too much from the layoff.
  18. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Oct 21, 2007 -> 09:29 PM) I can't say specifically what if anything Nieves had to do with Jenks and his curveball. But considering Jenkins always had problems with control, it would not be out of the realm of possibility that Nieves helped him locate it better to make it an effective pitch and gave him the confidence to not stress of he bounced one or two. Those are common issues with young pitchers who have big breaking balls. There is very little margin between bouncing one in the dirt and hanging one. So it is possible that Nieves could have helped him with the pitch, yet did not show him how to throw it. So lots not get too tangled over words, shall we? Outstanding posting as usual Rex. Anything whitesox related especially from the minors I'll take your word over anyone elses considering you actually do have the "knowledge" backing you up.
  19. Very classy of Schilling. Swearing on national television. Even though part of me is happy about it cause its Sportscenter whose airing it.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Oct 20, 2007 -> 02:38 PM) Just got back from that. I would actually buy this movie, and I own very few DVD's. That should tell you something. Saw it yesterday. It was decent I must say. Loved the plot though.
  21. I still think Cleveland will win this series despite this game.

QUOTE(longshot7 @ Oct 17, 2007 -> 12:21 PM) went to the 30 Days of Night premiere last night - I loved it! Good suspense, story, acting, etc. The vampires weren't too cheesy, and Josh Hartnett actually was okay. Good action and violence too. I recommend it. Probably going to see it this weekend. If not, definitely next weekend.
  23. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 16, 2007 -> 10:39 PM) but hey baseball is a funny game. Ain't that the truth in alot of ways. Hell... Sabathia/Carmona 0-1 12.96 era 10/8 BB:SO ratio Westbrook/Byrd 2-0 3.09 era 3/6 BB:SO ratio Crazy game I tell ya.
