QUOTE(soxfan420 @ May 18, 2006 -> 12:18 AM) Is it time because i dont see any other options. Don't mean to sound like an ass, but I know you used to "hit" the green, so I have to ask this.... are you high?

Series Finale Question
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 17, 2006 -> 09:29 PM) You are correct sir, thanks. Even if that is the reason in the first place, I still don't like it...6:15 Central Time start followed by a 1,000 mile flight home and a game at 3:05 the next day.....not cool. That's the benefit of winning a World Series. More recognition, More tiring flights, More interviews, etc. etc.

Tigers in first
QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 17, 2006 -> 09:02 PM) What a stupid pointless thread. You are an asshole Kalapse.. In a good way I mean.

KW
QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 17, 2006 -> 11:31 PM) Robert Valido if he gets his head out of his butt. Nah, Getz is the leadoff hitter for obvious reasons. But if you want someone to get his head out of his ass and could be our leadoff hitter and starting left fielder by next season and the future, then someone should slap the hell out of Jerry Owens cause that has his name written all over it.

Anderson Figuring it Out?
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 15, 2006 -> 12:21 AM) Either way I'm a big proponent of playing him pretty much every day and letting him grow. He has all the tools so hopefully he can come up with a plan of action at the plate thats sucessful. I tell ya what Jas, I'm really pulling for this kid. One of the rare 1st rounders we have that can turn out to be a great player. I really hope he succeeds.

Anderson Figuring it Out?
Ever since Ozzie benched him for a bit, he's been flat raking. Keep it up BA!!

Mark Buehrle and his "slump"
In Buehrle's standards... this is a slump for him.

Top 10 Disappointing SPs
QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ May 13, 2006 -> 05:49 PM) 9. Felix Hernandez (4.58 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, .277 BAA) I know it's your opinion, so I'm just gonna say I agree with basically everyone listed except this kid. Barely his first FULL year in the bigs and he's on a list with alot of quality pitchers who have been in the league for years? I don't agree with Blanton and Duke eigher, even though Blanton is worse right now. I'll take Duke and King Felix's era over say the others right now. Sheets, Burnett have got to be on there. And like another poster said, Oliver Perez has so much friggin potential and GREAT stuff, yet he can't even get a good era in the bigs (1 good year.) Man you talk about a waste of talent.

Report: Dolan to buy out Larry Browns contract
QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ May 14, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) Or Joakim Noah or Big Baby Or Kevin Durant, or Thaddeus Young, Josh McRoberts, etc.. etc.. My God you guys have to watch Durant play. He is a S-T-U-D. Never seen anyone's potential to be that good. He's a Tracy Mcgrady, Grant Hill (potentially Kevin Garnett) clone. He can really fly. But I would LOVE Oden. Oden will have the same impact in the NBA LeBron had. Book that.

Frank Thomas Injured?
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 14, 2006 -> 10:25 PM) Maybe you should just stick to your "insight" on college basketball... (Kalapse @ May 14, 2006 -> 10:33 PM) PWNED!!!!!!!

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE(greg775 @ May 14, 2006 -> 10:12 PM) Great win obviously considering the 7 spot. History for Mark B. Nice. Thome equals amazing. Very historic, I'm glad I got to witness it. The Triple Play?!?!...

Frank Thomas Injured?
Mark Buehrle might not even sniff the hall of fame, and were dissing a man who IS the greatest sox player in history just because he's not Ken Griffey Jr./Aaron Rowand-like in attitude? Ridiculous. I've said it a million times when Frank comes back here, if he plays, I will be one of the ones standing up and cheering when he comes up to the plate. He is an ambassidor to the game. I still will never forget when he and Griffey being the biggest backers in the steriod issue and Frank clearly saying at the time to be one of the first testers (as a matter of fact, the sox organization were the first testers in the steriod issue) He loves the sox. he did everything he can to help his team win, was outstanding with the fans (still have his autographed baseball and baseball card from years ago) and was not an asshole. (except to KW not JR who he respects and admires alot) I can go on and on, and something tells me when it's all said and done I'm going to have to.

QUOTE(Harry&JimmyRocked @ May 10, 2006 -> 11:53 PM) rape and pillage? i don't call trading a guy that will never help your team win a world series, for bullpen help raping and pillaging? obviously your life sucks bad enought to be the "tough talking message board guy", so these are my last thoughts on the subject. Anderson-4th outfielder Garland- one year wonder Crede-playing for contract what about danny wright? where's mckay christensen? what about super joe borchard? scott ruffcorn? rodney bolton? jon rauch? the great one year wonder mike caruso luis andujar arnie munoz? and the names go on and on spout all the names for me you'd like gutless wonder. the best you got is mr. one year jon garland???? looks like you'll have to take his sausage outta your mouth to respond. looks like the sox disagree with you as charlies ass we sent packing back down to the minors. now please give us a rant on kenny williams and why this was wrong. I honestly do not know where to begin with this quote.

Haeger
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 10, 2006 -> 11:42 PM) From what I saw of him briefly on Baseball Tonight, his stuff looked fairly good. The Knuckle was breaking, and he throws it pretty hard as well at about 70MPH, a lot faster than say Tim Wakefield like you said. Yea same thing. And the pitches I saw him miss on were very close, not way high, or way low. I think that's another difference between AAA and the bigs. Most of their hitters would swing at those pitches. Just minor stuff like that he will learn from. He is going to be a stud come two years. Just 22 years old. My goodness..

Another notable thing about Crede
I believe he misunderstood his post entirely. Eigher that or he's high.

2006 MLB Catch-All Thread
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 10, 2006 -> 02:04 AM) Even if correct, giving up a 25 year old lefty who obviously had some potential for some toolsy bum named Bynum You got to be kidding me. And don't even bring age into that conversation cause Bynum was born the same year as Koronka (1980) Your a smart poster wsf101 (one of the better ones here) but your way off base on this one.
