By April and the all the rosters being set, who...
It's cool man. I'll just learn how to just not care even if someone repeats it. We are all family at soxtalk. The Indians will be dangerous this year. But I expect the to put up a better race next year when their young hitters get more experience in the majors. When it's all said and done, we'll be talking about the indians like we did in the 90's

KW got something planned?
Well...now it's Konerko to Dodgers again

The sox suck
Agreed Critic and sorry about my earilier post "silence the critics" I didn't mean it in that regard But remeber, That "other" team got into the playoffs with good pitching which is a question mark going into the season with us cause we still don't know who's our 4th or 5th starter (cause I just don't like Shoe in the rotation)

Hmmm...... I could have sworn I said something like that at my other post above.. But I totally agree. Can't wait to see that kid Jody Gerut. He's going to be quite a hitter, him and JEREMY REED

GET TWINS FA'S
That's where your wrong. Cotts will see majors again. I dunno if it will be for the sox but he will if he's on another team or not. I believe, IMO, that Cotts and Moss are the same pitchers as far as control. Did you see how many walks Moss had last year? Cotts can at least Strike people out. (check his minor league stats and he only issued I think 1 or 2 hrs. that's it!) Control and batting eye can be taught. It might not be that BIG of a difference, but it will improve someone's swing (as far as batters) or velocity (as far as pitching.)

The sox suck
Right on witesoxfan. I think I posted something like that about the marlins on another thread Anyways, I actually think we do have a shot at our weak division. Our offense hasn't lost a step (if maggs is still here and if konerko can come back to form) and our pitching can go up against any of our division rivals. But you cant hate douters (The Hawk) even if we feel they are not true fans. I think the sox should silence the critics and just play their game on the field.

Damn straight go LSU and Brian West

Oops..sorry tony didnt mean to quote your saying. That was meant for The Hawk

The sox suck
It looks like someone is confident in our sox Why don't we wait until at least this month ends. Usually this is the month KW makes some moves.

Updated ESPN Offseason Rankings
You also have to take into consideration that the Marlins were not going anywhere. They were pretty dead. If they didn't hire McKeon eariler in the season, promote the D-train when their pitching was hurt, or make significant moves by the deadline to bolster their playoff run (Conine, Urbina) they would not have never gotton that far wutsoever. Lets see... don't wanna sound too wierd but... we got rid of our manager, Manuel, hired Ozzie, maybe promote/see if one or our rookies shine (Cotts?) and maybe make a move at the deadline (which KW usually does) We might turn into the Marlins of 04!!!

Of course im going to pick the sox, but I also believe they CAN win it. I'll give the Tribe one more season before their young guys blossom. But it's still too early to tell. As we've already seen, teams are still making moves (KC=Juan gone) and hopefully, the sox can get some quality arms too. I'm still not convinced this is the team were going into the season. I expect KW to make a couple of pickups to solidify this team.

Juan Gonzalez signed
Well, I'm not sure if you should call KC's picthing "unproven." Most of them are proven veterans who do get the job done. Sully has been a workload more than just this season if you check his stats. He's actually said that he prefers being out there every chance he gets. I bet if he was still on the sox, you wouldn't be saying anything about him. As far as MacDougle goes, you have to take into consideration, that was his rookie season. He is still young, and he had control problems.(that's why his walk total was pretty high) Being "exposed" is when you've been in the league more than one season. That's like saying the league figured out Joe Crede's weakness in batting. I still don't think KC has the pitching we have (can't believe i acually said that) and their offense is still not as good as ours. (if Maggs is still here and if Konerko comes back to form.) Don't underestimate The Twinkies eigher. Minnesota is still very dangerous even after losing alot of their players. But we shall see. It's going to be a race to the finish.

Pete Rose admits he bet on baseball
I remember about a couple years ago, a cousin of mine, who travels ALOT in the U.S., actually kinda bumped into mr. rose. He asked fo his autograph and the guy just blew him off. I hate Rose as a person but I respect what the man has done as a player. He should be in the hall IMO. But he also said if he goes into the hall, he wants to go back to managing in baseball. Dunno if that's going to happen tho.

So You Think That the 2004 Cubs Are Unstoppable?
Agreed. I also believe we can win the series on the north and south side of chicago against the scrubs. And Tony82087, is that just your personal name or is that a name of one of my favorite players who just "left" the sox Tony G.?

GET TWINS FA'S
I wouldn't mind hocking. I don't think we have a chance with Rogers, and I'd prefer Neil Cotts than Damian Moss. They both walk a ton of batters anyway. I think Cotts is special though. Has more upside IMO.

Bruce Levine
- Bruce Levine
Your right about KW. He does like to keep things quiet, but that still tells me he's not doing much as of now. Levine does get the job done as far as info. on matter how much u want to deny that. Even tho in not a big fan of his eigher. I just got this off of another site so we'll see if KW means by this "bottom feeding."- If anyone cares, Damaso had pitched 2 innings...
I was thinking the same thing. I can understand him pitching in his native land, but he has been a workload the past 2 seasons. As dominent as he is, the last thing the sox need is another billy koch injury.- Just to say thanks
O yes, COLOR=green]She's my future wife[/color] What a hottie!!!- Bruce Levine
Bruce Levine is on Espn 1000. He is a very credible source. He said that he talked to KW. KW said that there are no immediate negotiations going on right now, and that they are 4 million over budget, They might have to do some "bottom feeding." I got this from the sox main site. Why does this not surprise me?? - Bruce Levine
